Nikhil Gowda, grandson of HD Deve Gowda, is making his silversceen debut in South India with an upcoming bilingual romantic drama titled Jaguar. Produced by Nikhil’s father HD Kumara Swamy on a staggering budget, the film is gearing up to hit the screens for Dusheera. A lot of money is riding on the film and the makers are going all out to make it a perfect launch vehicle for the young hero. The film will simultaneously release in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.
Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that a popular Tollywood producer has hit the jackpot with Jaguar. We have learnt that the producer is making an outright of around 5 Crores by helping the film release in Telugu in a grand way. The producer owns a number of theatres across the Telugu states. So based on the expenses and rents, he is going to make a profit of 5 Crores.
Also, sources say that he is extracting the publicity costs from the makers. As they want to make it a huge launch pad and they don’t have any reliable contacts in Tollywood, the makers are leaving no stone unturned and spending extravagantly to release the film in a grand way in Telugu.
Directed by Mahadev, Jaguar features ensemble cast in the form of Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna and Brahmanandam in crucial roles. SS Thaman scored the soundtrack.
