PVP Cinema, owned by Prasad V Potluri, is popular for churning out various big ticket films in South India. Having produced Oopiri and Brahmotsavam earlier this year, the production house is currently busy with Rana’s multilingual war drama Ghazi which is set for February release. Also, they have roped in Akkineni Nagarjuna to play the lead role in Ohmkar’s ‘Raju Gari Gadhi 2‘.

Speaking to the presser recently, Prasad V Potluri announced that they are planning another biggie with Superstar Mahesh Babu in 2017. Mahesh is currently shooting for Murugadoss’ untitled film and has a couple of projects lined up for next year. So, PVP Cinema is likely to bankroll one of the two projects. Mahesh teamed up with PVP for this year’s Summer release Brahmotsavam, which ended as a huge failure at the box office.

Tamil actor Karthi’s latest offering Kashmora was distributed in Telugu by PVP Cinema. The film opened to a decent response last Friday in both the Telugu states.
