Megastar Chiranjeevi is the sole decision maker for Charan’s films too. Even after Charan okaying the script, it is Megastar Chiranjeevi who approves the script and the film’s final cut. It was Megastar who gave his nod for Rangasthalam 1985 and he even visited the film’s sets several times during the shoot. Sukumar is the director of this village based romantic entertainer. Megastar happened to watch the film’s rushes recently and he expressed his displeasure for couple of episodes. He asked the team to reshoot those episodes as he was not convinced with them.
However Charan surprised Megastar by supporting Sukumar and asked him to believe the work of the talented director. Charan convinced Megastar explaining about the vision of Sukumar and asked him to give a free hand. With nothing much to do, Megastar had to accept Charan’s word and asked him to go ahead. Samantha is playing the female lead in Rangasthalam 1985 which has been aimed for March 30th release. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this big budget mass entertainer and Charan’s look gained top class response from his fans.
