Ram Charan has been busy shooting for his next film titled Rangasthalam which is touted to be a village based romantic drama. Sukumar is directing the movie and Samantha is playing the female lead. The shoot of the film is going on without any breaks across the coastal regions of Godavari. The movie’s satellite deal has been closed recently for a whopping price of Rs 16 crores. Now the digital rights of the film have been acquired by Amazon Prime for Rs 13 crores.
Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project and their past films Srimanthudu and Janatha Garage ended up as blockbusters. There has been huge demand for the theatrical rights of the film all over and the makers are in plans to sell them for record prices for their regular distributors cashing the film’s craze. On the whole Rangasthalam is all set to leave the makers in huge profits even before the release. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer and Rathnavelu is the cinematographer.
