Andhra Pradesh is planning  a Global Investor Summit during October 12-14, 2015, on the eve of Hudhud anniversary. The devastating Hudhud struck port city Vizag and other parts of north coastal Andhra causing huge property loss  last October. The issue figured prominently in the monthly meeting state investment promotion board chaired by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting reviewed proposal to set up seven mega project with an investment of Rs 2003 crore. These industries, if set up, would provide  employment opportunities for 35,000 to 40,000 people.
