That Bollywood Megastar Amithab Bachchan is going to essay a crucial role in Chiranjeevi’s ambitious period drama SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy is a known news.
Quite surprisingly, Big B hasn’t ever spoke about this project anywhere. Even he didn’t mention about it in social media. This has led to speculations in Telugu media that he might have walked out of the project.
Ending all rumours, director Surender Reddy has met Amithab Bachchan recently and narrated his role. Amithab will be seen as Gosai Venkanna, guru of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy who was very instrumental in the revolt against the British.
Though it is a brief role, it has a strong impact in the story. This is the reason why Surender Reddy opted for a prominent artist for the role.
Amithab will be joining the sets very soon. The fresh schedule will commence in Hyderabad in the next week.
