    Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil is gearing up for a massive release in the 11th of this month. The film was supposed to release last month, but was postponed due to some minor glitches in the CG work. The entire post production work has the first copy has been readied.

    The film will head to censor scrutiny tomorrow morning. All the formalities will be completed by evening. Directed by VV Vinayak, the film has Sayyesha Saigal as the female lead. Actor Nithiin is the producer for the film. Anup Rubens and SS Thaman scored the soundtrack.

    Nithin faces the ire of Akhil fans

    Young hero Nithin who is producing the most awaited film ‘Akhil’ was a happy man till last night. Akhil which happens to be the debut film for Akhil Akkineni was postponed stating some technical issue as the reason.

    Confirming the news Nithin on last night tweeted, “Due to delay in graphics work v r unable to release AKHIL on oct22nd..sorry for the delay..will announce the new release date soon..sorry..”

    Hereafter, he faced the ire of Akkineni fans on social media. Fans are crossing all the limits in abusing Nithin for postponing the film at the last moment.

    Akhil fans allege that Nithin has postponed the release fearing of his business and also to support Bruce Lee. It is to mention that Nithin is known to be a die hard fan of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.

    The film has now been pushed to November.

    Interesting Tamil title for Akhil

    Popular producer C.Kalyan has bagged the Tamil rights of Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil. He is planning a huge promotional event in Chennai which will be graced by Rajinikanth to introduce Akhil to the Tamil audience.

    The film has been titled as ‘Surya Kavacham’ in Tamil. It is well known that the story of the film revolves around an African tribal group where they worship sun and call it as Jua. The tagline of the film, ‘Power of Jua’, is also named after this point. Unlike the Telugu title, which is simple and soft, the Tamil title has some intensity behind it.

    VV Vinayak is the director for this much anticipated film and Sayyesha Saigal is the heroine. Actor Nithiin is producing the film. SS Thaman and Anup Rubens scored the soundtrack. The film will hit the screens on October 22nd.

    Marking the grand success of the audio, the makers of Akhil have decided to celebrate the platinum disc function in a grand way. Grand arrangements are being made in Vizag for this event which will be held on October 17th.

    It is well-known that Akhil Akkineni, the latest entrant from Akkineni family, is currently busy shooting for his debut film under the direction of VV Vinayak. Already, a video snippet of the film’s making was released sometime ago and Akhil was seen performing with great energy levels in the stunt sequences. Expectations are sky-high among the audience and the makers are making all possible efforts to make it a big hit.

    A close source from the unit informed that the movie is confirmed to hit the screens as a festival treat during Dussera. Possibly it will hit the screens on Oct 21 if no other major film is slated to release on the same day, added the source. Almost 70 percent of the film’s shooting has been done and dusted. The unit had wrapped up a couple of hectic foreign schedules and the remaining part will be completed by the end of next month.
