    Vishwambara pushes Akhil’s Project

    Top production house UV Creations is busy producing Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Vishwambara and it is the costliest attempt in Chiranjeevi’s career. The film is a socio-fantasy film directed by Vassishta and it involves extensive work during the shoot and after the shoot gets completed. A huge budget is allocated for VFX work and several sets are erected for the shoot of Vishwambara. The team is completely focused on the shoot of Vishwambara and UV Creations pushed Akhil’s film for now. Akhil’s film will be directed by a debutant Anil Kumar and the final script got wrapped up recently. Though the project was planned to start early this year, it was pushed.

    The pre-production work of this untitled film is currently on. Akhil’s film will be launched post summer and the shoot starts after the major shoot of Vishwambara gets wrapped. Akhil is preparing himself for the role and he is involved in the pre-production work of the film. Akhil’s film too is planned on a hefty budget and the cast is currently finalized. UV Creations will spend lavishly on the film and an announcement will be made soon.

    Agent Totally Different From Other Spy Thrillers: Akhil

    Young Hero Akhil Akkineni is coming up with his ambitious Spy Thriller ‘Agent‘ releasing on April 28th. The recently released trailer upped the expectations on the film. Akhil interacted with media ahead of its release.

    “I always like to larger than life action films. While doing Bachelor, I always felt doing something that is not in my zone. I approached Suri and that’s how the movie happened,” he told how the movie happened.

    “I got inspired by Hrithik Roshan‘s body but very quickly realised every body‘s body is different and we can not build body like someone. I worked really hard but also enjoyed it. It took ten months to get this body,” he told.

    “My character in the film is crazy. He behaves like a monkey all the time. This will give a unique feel to the film. Agent is an intense story that happens between three characters. It will be a new world totally. We are confident audience will love it,” the star added.

    The theatrical trailer of Akhil Akkineni’s Agent was unveiled today and it got a wonderful response from all corners. In presence of a massive turnout, the trailer launch event happened in Kakinada.

    Akhil Akkineni said he will cherish the two years journey of Agent forever. “I don’t know how to describe this journey in words. I have changed a lot mentally in this journey. Sakshi Vaidya is a surprise package. Music director Hip-Hop Tamizha gave life to the film and his BGM is very wild. Anil Sunkara is my backbone. He said that if we make such a big film for the fans, everyone should go crazy. He is my support system.

    I will give the entire credit of Agent to director Surender Reddy. He is the one who imagined me in this look. I never imagined myself like this. It is the courage given by the Agent that I am speaking so confidently today. No matter what weight the fans put on me, I’ll carry it and keep coming wild for you. The theatre should go crazy on April 28.”

    ‘Agent’ producer apologises to Akhil Akkineni’s fans

    As Akkineni Akhil celebrates his birthday on Friday, producer Anil Sunkara has apologised to the actor’s fans for releasing just a ‘simple’ poster of his next film ‘Agent’.

    Anil Sunkara, the producer for ‘Agent’ had taken his social media sites to convey the same.

    As the Akkineni fans had expected the release of the ‘Agent’ teaser, they are quite upset over the makers releasing only a simple poster on Akhil’s birthday.

    Sunkara apologized to the fans for not releasing the teaser. He said the team will come up with a power-packed teaser soon.

    “For all Akkineni fans a big SORRY for not giving the teaser today. We want to give the best and it will be worth your wait. We promise to give the highest quality theatrical teaser in May”, Anil Sunkara’s post reads.

    Billed as an action thriller, ‘Agent’ is being directed by Surender Reddy. Akhil has undergone a massive physical transformation for this film.

    Hip-hop Tamizha is composing the music for this flick. It is slated for worldwide release on August 12.

Now one of the producers wanted to cash on the curiosity of the audience about the chemistry between Akhil and Monal. A web series is planned with Akhil and Monal as lead pair and is titled as Telugu Abbai, Gujarat Ammai. Incidentally Akhil is a Telugu boy and Monal is Gujarat girl.

    Akhil Akkineni is yet to deliver a commercial hit and he is three films old. The actor proved his mettle with his performance but he could not convince the audience. Mega producer Allu Aravind took the responsibility to produce a film which is titled Most Eligible Bachelor. The film is in the last leg of the shoot and will hit the screens early next year. Akhil was holding talks for many projects and the latest news we hear is that his next project got finalized.

    Surendar Reddy impressed Nag, Akhil with the complete script and gave a positive nod. The project starts early next year. Krish’s First Frame Entertainments and Surendar Reddy will jointly produce the film. The female lead and other actors, technicians will be finalized soon.     After a disappointing debut, Akkineni Akhil decided to do breezy romantic entertainers to woo class audience. His second film Hello received good response but didn’t succeed commercially at box office. He is currently working with Venky Atluri for Mr. Majnu, a youthful romedy.

    Akhil is now eyeing to do a full length commercial entertainer for his next film. Telugu360 has reliably learnt that the action entertainers specialist director Boyapati Srinu is preparing script for Akhil’s next film. Reportedly, it will be a pure mass drama with plenty of mass elements in Boyapati’s style.

    Both Akhil and Boyapati are busy with their current projects. They will kick start the pre production activities early next year and the regular shooting will from Summer.

    It is a known fact that Akkineni Akhil’s debut film Akhil and his second film Hello were made on a solid budget. Unfortunately, both films ended as box office failures and buyers incurred heavy losses. Though Hello garnered good reviews, the film couldn’t break even as it was sold for high prices due to its expensive budget.

    Now, producer BVSN Prasad who is bankrolling Akhil’s third film Mr. Majnu is planning judiciously and spending the budget wisely. Reportedly, Mr Majnu is made with a limited budget between 25-30 Crores to ensure that there is no great risk involved. Majority of the shoot was done in London and the producer will get some percentage of refund from the UK government due to its tourism norms. This helped the producer to restrict the film’s budget.

    Sources say that BVSN Prasad is looking for a quality output with limited budget so that the pre release business will ensure table profits for him. He is trying his best not repeat the mistakes of Akhil’s previous producers. He is also looking for an ideal release date during Republic Day so that the film will have no big competition at box office..

    After failing to score a commercial success with his first two films, Akkineni Akhil is now desperately trying to make amends with his upcoming film which has been titled as Mr. Majnu. Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame is directing this romantic entertainer which has Akhil playing a Casanova.

    Producer BVSN Prasad initially planned to release the film in the last week of December. But, there seems to be change in the release plans of Mr. Majnu. Sources close to the team revealed that Akhil is in a dilemma over the release date. Though Christmas season is good to release the film, Akhil is looking to release the film in January.

    A slew of films are slated for release in December. So, Akhil is in not willing to take risk at this point of his career. Also, Sankranthi season is jam-packed with biggies like NTR biopic, Ram Charan – Boyapati film and F2. Reportedly, Akhil wants to release Mr. Majnu during Republic Day holiday in the last week of January as no other big ticket film is slated for release at that time.

    The teaser of Mr. Majnu received a thumping response and Akhil’s makeover got thumbs up from audience. Akhil is confident of scoring a hit this time and all he is looking for is the right time to release the film.
