Akkineni Akhil’s third film which is being helmed by Venky Atluri is progressing at a brisk pace in and around London. Producer BVSN Prasad is spending a fortune on this project and majority of the shooting will happen in the lavish locales of London.

It is learnt that the tourism department of London is going to refund half of the budget spent for shooting there. As Akhil’s extensive London schedule is going to cost around 20 Crores, producer is going to get a refund of nearly 10 Crores as per the norms of tourism department.

London tourism department is encouraging filmmakers by reimbursing 50 percent budget spent on films for shooting in and around London. So, BVSN Prasad didn’t bat an eyelid when Venky Atluri finalized London to shoot major portion of the film. It will be big boost for the producer for sure. This is also said to be one of the reasons why our filmmakers are preferring to shoot in the UK.

Previously, the tourism department refunded some portion of the budget for Telugu films 1 Nennokidine and Nannaku Prematho which were extensively shot there.

Akkineni Akhil is in quest for a good commercial success that puts his career on the right track. He is now teaming up with talented director Venky Atluri for a romantic entertainer to be bankrolled by BVSN Prasad.

The regular shooting of this film will kick off in a few days in abroad. Reports suggest that the film will be wrapped up in less than three months and the makers are planning to release the film for Dusheera. The team will complete the shooting portion in straight schedules.

Nidhi Agerwal is the film’s leading lady. Mr. Majnu is the tentative title for the film.

SS Thaman will compose the tunes and BVSN Prasad is bankrolling this prestigious project which is yet to be titled. This romantic entertainer will release during the end of this year and Akhil has his hopes high on this film.

Akkineni Akhil has finally ended all the speculations about his next project. On the eve of Ugadhi, the Hello actor has officially announced that he will be joining forces with Tholi Prema director Venky Atluri for his third project.

Earlier today, Akhil took to Twitter to announce the news for his followers. The regular shooting of this untitled project will commence in mid Summer this year. BVSN Prasad, who produced Tholi Prema, will pool resources for this film. The cast and crew will be announced very soon.

After the disappointing trade result of Hello, Akhil has come across a slew of stories from different directors, but he has decided to work with Venky Atluri after getting impressed with his work in Tholi Prema.

The disappointing show of Hello has once again put Akkineni Akhil in a tight corner. He is in a dilemma over his next project. Even after four months post completion of Hello, Akhil is yet to announce his third film. Several directors names have been making rounds in media, but Akhil is tight lipped about the project details.

Sources say that Akhil is going to make a formal announcement on April 8th on the eve of his birthday. It was speculated that Koratala Siva and Sukumar are the forerunners to helm Akhil’s third film. Later, names for Puri Jagannadh and Ram Gopal Varma also cropped up. But nothing has been finalized till now.

Both Koratala and Sukumar are busy with their commitments. Akhil might not be too interested to experiment much at this juncture by teaming up Puri or RGV. So, it remains to be seen what Akhil has in store for his third project.
