New feature introduced this time in Bigg boss season-2 is having some “common people” in the house along with celebrities. Out of total 16 contestants, there were 13 celebrities and three from “common persons” category – Sanjana (Model), Ganesh (radio jockey) and Nutan Naidu. Sanjana Anne is an Indian model and aspiring actor. She has been the winner of Miss Hyderabad Beauty Pageant in 2016. She is finalist of Miss Indian in 2018. She is from Vijayawada, though her current location is Hyderabad. Sanjana Anne joined the show in ‘common people’ category, but after seeing her profile, she doesn’t look like a ‘common person’ really. She contested in several fashion shows including miss India title.

Big boss-2 contestant Sanjana’s (b)old interview on casting couch has now become viral and it explains more about her bold personality. That old interview in which she spoke about beating a director who asked for “commitment” from her became viral now in social media. She gave an interview long back to a web channel, much before this big boss season-2. In that interview, she explained, when she was trying for film chances, a film director asked for her “commitment” and “be available” at all times. When she asked, “What does that mean”, he replied, “It is common in the industry and you should understand, none explains everything”. She warned him not to mess up with her at that time. Later again, the director called her to office. She went along with her brother and sister and director became serious on this and made some sharp comments. After this, Sanjana told, she bashed him left and right and gave a strict warning to him “Never ever mess up with me”. This interview was given long back but now, after Sanjana joined Bigg boss, the interview video went viral. Even in the show too, Sanjana looking brave and showing fighting spirit.

Bigg boss season-2 started yesterday and this time, they have introduced new feature in the show wherein even some “common people” also can join the bigg boss house as contestants. Out of total 16 contestants, there were 13 celebrities and three from “common persons” category – Sanjana (Model), Ganesh (radio jockey) and Nutan Naidu.

Nutan Naidu joined as one of the three “common men” contestants in the house. He came in ‘Khakhi’ dress and introduced himself as social worker. When asked about the reason for the color of dress, he told it is symbol of ‘labor’ and ‘manual work’. He had ‘NN’ on his shirt and revealed that it is not brand of the dress but NN means himself i.e. ‘Nutan Naidu’.

He joined the show in ‘common man’ category, but after seeing his profile, he doesn’t look like a common man really. He contested as MLA from Jai Samaikyandhra party. While contesting as MLA in 2014 elections, he himself explained his bio-data. As per that video, he studied in government college and was student leader since college days. To be precise, he was SFI (Student Federation of India) leader. Then he worked in multi national companies and has even gone to foreign countries(In the video, he didn’t clearly specify whether he went abroad for work or for visiting, though). Later he worked with political parties like PRP, Congress, and YSRCP. During “United AP movement”, he resigned to YSRCP to join Jai Samaikyandhra party of Kiran Kumar Reddy.

He added, he was very much part of “Samaikya Andhra” movement and strong proponent of united AP. He worked with various organizations to study and disseminate information on the loss meted to residuary state of AP due to bifurcation. After joining Jai Samaikyandhra party, he worked sincerely for the party and in fact he was the one who looked after the party work related to Election commission – like registering party with EC. He claimed he is even one of the founder member of this party. He also claimed he worked extensively on preparing manifesto of this party. He contested elections from Pendurthi constituency as MLA candidate in 2014. Of course he lost from the elections, like all other members of that party.

So, to put in a nutshell, he worked with 4 political parties and contested as MLA. Maybe he is still not celebrity, but what people expected when the promo of “Common man” category in bigg boss was shown is – definitely not this . We will get to know more about him as the show progresses

“Adirindi Babai”: Nani enthralls in first episode of Biggboss-2

Much awaited Biggboss season-2 started off with Hero Nani as host. Even though Nani ‘s hosting skills have already been proved earlier on various occasions, there has been curiosity among audience on how Nani will perform. Especially because NTR already made season-1 a big success, people wanted to see whether Nani will live upto expectations.

Nani started the show showering appreciation on Tarak for doing great job in season-1. Nani carried his “boy next door” image during the show as well. His frequent use of the words like “Babai”, his jovial interaction with housemates, his sense of humor at times – all are engaging enough for the audience. Of course, Nani is not a match to NTR in terms of stardom. And also, NTR, after first series, set the bar so high for Nani. It is not correct to compare Nani and NTR’s performances as both have their own style, but Nani too looked promising and seemed to be able to put his best. In terms of energy level, Nani has to improve a bit. As episodes progress, he might even better it. The list of contestants too looked good with 13 celebrities and 3 common people. But unlike season-1 that had Mumaith Khan and Archana who played prominent roles, not much starcast this time in season-2. Of course, similar complaint was heard on day-1 of season-1 too. Also, as this is season-2, now audience too know what to expect and what not to expect. As season-1 entertained audience, like all the sequels, the franchise now has “ready made” fans for the show which is a plus point for the show.

Overall, Nani’s engaging performance, list of contestants and “inkonchem ekkuva masala (little more spice)” seem to be positive points as of now. We will have to wait and see what kind of response Biggboss-2 will get.

Let’s review your options , if any, for watching the BIGGBOSS Telugu 2 Live in USA : Unfortunately , for USA audience, as of this writing there is no option for watching BIGG BOSS-2 

Star MAA has confirmed that Bigg Boss will not be available in US due to licensing agreements with the format provider.

SlingTV :  Sling will not be carrying Bigg Boss live or recordings of the show. 

 Hotstar : They have rights to stream , upload MAA TV programming online for India Only , but they don’t have live streaming option for USA.

Natural Star Nani is hosting the second season of Bigg Boss which will start on June 10th. Nani interacted with the media in a special press meet today and he revealed some interesting facts. He said that he has no special preparations for the realty show and Nani too is eagerly waiting to see how he would handle Bigg Boss 2. Nani also says that it is a huge challenge for him and is ready to impress the small screen audience.

“I feel that Bigg Boss 2 is a great opportunity to connect with the audience. It will be a new experience for sure and I am really looking forward for the challenge. I haven’t watched Bigg Boss till date and I will watch the entire first season soon before I start my shoot. Me and Tarak met recently and he suggested me to behave myself and said no to any experiments. So, I am not going to follow NTR or Salman and I will be myself. I am not going to miss my family as the entire season will be shot in Hyderabad” said Nani during his interaction.
