Megastar Chiranjeevi will be turning 63 this August 22nd. As usually, Mega fans are going to celebrate Chiru’s birthday on a grand scale with several charity events all over Telugu states.

One more reason fans are eagerly waiting for August 22nd is Chiranjeevi’s upcoming magnum opus period drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy which is currently happening at a brisk pace. Last year, Syeraa was formally launched on Chiru’s birthday.

This year, fans are awaiting to get the first glimpse of this big budget entertainer which is gearing up for Summer 2019 release. Reports suggest that the makers of SyeRaa are planning to unveil a small teaser on August 22nd as a birthday treat for fans. Needless to say, it would be huge delight for million of fans if Chiru and team give a special treat.

Directed by Surender Reddy, the film has an ensemble cast and Ram Charan is the producer.

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made interesting comments on Kiran Kumar Reddy joining back into Congress party. But while making these comments, he also dragged Chiranjeevi into the topic and made satirical comments on Chiranjeevi too.

Chandra babu told, Kiran Kumar Reddy started new party in 2014 but he couldn’t win the trust of people. He added, in politics, everybody will take their own decision. But he didn’t stop there. He reminded people about Chiranjeevi and told, Chiranjevi who floated his own party later merged into Congress but nobody knows in which political party he is now?.

CBN, who is called modern Chanakya, seems to have made these comments intentionally. By reminding people about new political outfits failing in AP, he indirectly indicated Janasena also might fail. But, we have to see how these comments are received by people. Because, Chiranjeevi is not at all provoking anyone and also not responding even if some one makes scathing comments on him. Unnecessarily dragging him and making sarcastic comments may not go well with mega fans.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy with the shoot of Syeraa which is a periodic drama set during the Independence era. Massive sets have been erected in Kokapet and the episodes in which Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy attacks the British Empire are being canned during nights. But with the heavy downpour of rain from the last couple of days stalled the film’s shoot. All the artists had to return back from the shoot because of the rain.

Massive budget has been allotted for this action episode and hundreds of junior artists are working for the sequence. The shoot of this episode has been extended as of now. Megastar will be seen in a new look in this big budget action entertainer which is directed by Surendar Reddy. Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company is bankrolling this prestigious project which will release in 2019.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dev’s debut movie is releasing on 12th July. The movie is titled ‘Vijeta’ which reminds people of 1985 super hit Chiranjeevi movie with same title. This movie is produced by Sai Korrapati under the banner of Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram, and is directed by Rakesh Sasi. Malvika Nair, who proved her mettle with the films like Yevade Subramanyam and Kalyana Vaibhogame, is playing opposite Kalyan Dev. Yesterday, the hero of the movie and son in law of Chiranjeevi came to TV9 Studio to promote his debut film. But this actually hurt several Mega fans. Details as below.

It is known news that Pawan Kalyan attacked some media channels on 20th April alleging that these channels have colluded with ruling party and intentionally degrading Pawan Kalyan and his family. Pawan Kalyan also had meeting with film industry bigwigs requesting their support to fight on these channels who are not only degrading his family but also entire industry on several occasions. Later Chiranjeevi also held a meeting with several top stars of the industry and the meeting was attended by many including Junior NTR and Mahesh Babu. During that time, there have been speculations that mega family is taking control of the film industry slowly and taking necessary steps to hit back these channels. Some of the Mega fans even obliged the suggestion of Pawan Kalyan and blocked these channels from their TV sets personally.

These hard core fans who are supporting mega family seems to have hurt with yesterday’s development of Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law going to TV9 Studio and promoting their film. They felt that at least Chiranjeevi family heroes should have stood by Pawan Kalyan’s request and excluded TV9. Or if they (Chiranjeevi &Co) understand that they need the support of these channels (TV9), they should have kept quiet when the issue happened instead of convening meetings in the industry and sending signals to the people that they are doing something to hit back at these channels and thereby giving false hopes to fans. While the fans of Pawan and Mega family blocked the channels upon the request of Pawan, these mega heroes promoting their films through the same channels, is not at all going well with the fans.

Overall, Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law giving interview in TV9 Studio did not go well with the mega fans who blocked this channel in their personal TV sets.

However, film unit released list of invitees for the function and as per that, only Chiranjeevi is coming for the audio function.

Sai korrapati is producing this movie under the direction of Rakesh Sasi. Malavika Nair is the heroine. The audio will be released today, June 24th.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Kollu Ravindra thanked former MP Chiranjeevi, for helping to take up development programs in Machillipatnam district .

Minister met today Chiranjeevi at his residence in Hyderabad. Ravindra told,” During his tenure as Rajya Sabha member, Chiranjeevi granted Rs 5 crore to Machilipatnam constituency and the development works are at various stages of development now.” He added, the people of Machilipatnam constituency will be indebted to Chiranjeevi.” Chiranjeevi too expressed his satisfaction over the works initiated with the funds allotted to him.

Anyway, it is nice gesture by Chiranjeevi as well as Kollu Ravindra. But what people expect is to get the works taken up to be finished at the earliest.

Megastar Chiranjeevi kick-started the shoot of his periodic epic Syeraa last year and the shoot has been taking place at a snail pace. Megastar was completely focused on the film’s quality and asked his team not to hurry. Things changed completely after Koratala Siva has been roped in to direct Megastar’s next. Chiranjeevi asked Surendar Reddy and the team of Syeraa to wrap up the principle shoot at the earliest.

Chiranjeevi is in plans to start Koratala’s project by the end of this year and he wants to wrap up 30% of the shoot of the film by the time Syeraa hits the screens. Surendar Reddy is now busy planning the next schedules without breaks and the shoot will be wrapped up in quick schedules. Megastar also wanted Surendar Reddy to spend ample time on the VFX work and post-production. But the technicians are worried that the immediate hurry of work may hamper the quality of the periodic epic. We have to wait and see how Surendar Reddy managed to complete things in the allotted strict time.

KS Rama Rao of Creative commercials production banner produced several blockbuster movies with Chiranjeevi in 80s and 90s. But later they developed a rift and did not work again. However now during audio function of “ Tej I love you” movie, both of them became closer again and as per reports, KS Rama Rao is planning to do a movie with Ram Charan as hero. it is also learnt that they are planning to remake Chiranjeevi blockbuster movie Gang Leader.

Even though there are several reports that the producer is planning to remake Gang Leader, it is not clear why the name of Gang Leader is doing rounds in film circles. In fact Gang Leader movie doesn’t have any relation with KS Rama Rao. Gang Leader was produced by Maganti Ravindranath and directed by Vijaya bapineedu. There are several movies of Chiranjeevi that were produced by KS Rama Rao and are worth of remaking. – like Challenge, Abhilasha and Rakshasudu. it is really doubtful whether the rumour doing rounds in film circles about Gang Leader remake is true or not. Even if it is true, that movie has to start only after Rajamouli movie which may take couple of years from now to complete.

Another question is, with no novel point, whether Gang Leader will be able to entertain current generation of audience and that too after Rajamouli movie. Anyway we’ll have to wait and see, if there is any truth in this rumour or not.

Chiru said Charan gave formal nod to act in KS Rama Rao’s production after wrapping up the current commitments. Since then, Tollywood is abuzz with the news that this film is going to be a remake of Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster hit.

It is believed that KS Rama Rao, who produced numerous super hits with Chiru, is planning to rope in a star director for this crazy film. Sources say that this film is going to be a modern version of one of Chiranjeevi’s iconic hit in the 1990s.

Mega fans have been eagerly waiting since many years to see Charan starring in any of Chiranjeevi’s hit films. So, this might be the film that would quench their thirst. But, the million dollar question is whether Charan dares to remake his father’s films or not.

Currently busy with Boyapati’s film, Charan has Rajamouli’s multi-starrer up next. So, KS Rama Rao’s flick will kick off after these two films.

Syeraa to be bigger and better than Baahubali

Baahubali is the first film that comes into the mind of the Tollywood audience when discussed about periodic epics and war dramas. The war episodes impressed the audience big time and they managed to set new benchmarks in Indian cinema. New set of auditions for Megastar’s Syeraa

Megastar Chiranjeevi is busy with the shoot of a periodic epic Syeraa which is shooting in Hyderabad. Surendar Reddy is directing this big budget periodic film and the principle cast has been finalized even before the start of shoot. SyeRaa to release in Summer 2019

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s big budget period drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy will be the first big ticket Summer release of 2019.

Summer is the most preferred window by Telugu filmmakers after Sankranthi season as it draws huge number of family audience. This year, Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Mahanati emerged as blockbusters after their release at the start of Summer. So, Chiranjeevi and Surender Reddy want to cash in on next year’s Summer season with no other prominent release slated for release during the same time.

SyeRaa, a historical film set in the pre independence backdrop and revolves around the life of doughty freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, stars an ensemble cast in the form of Amithab Bachchan,Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanatara,Tamannaah and Sudeep. The regular shooting commenced last year and the team already wrapped up a couple of hectic schedules.

The entire shooting formalities will be wrapped up by the end of this year. Ram Charan is pooling resources for this Magnum Opus.

SyeRaa progressing at a snail pace

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious pre-independence period drama Syeraa Narasimha Reddy commenced it’s regular shoot last year. Even after 6 months, the team managed to wrap up only twenty five percent of its entire shoot.

Initially, it was delayed due to sudden exit of cinematographer Ravi Varman and music composer AR Rahman. Now, the busy commitments of other cast like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanatara, Tamannaah and Sudeep are causing delay the project. At the start, the makers were in plans to release the film for Sankranthi 2019. But, going by its current progress, it looks like the film might hit the screens in mid next year.

The fresh schedule of SyeRaa will commence from June 5th in Hyderabad. Directed by Surender Reddy, the film is produced by Ram Charan’s Konidela Productions banner.

Koratala Siva to direct Megastar ?

Star director Koratala Siva has achieved the rare distinction of becoming only the second director of the current generation after Rajamouli to deliver four blockbuster hits in a trot. His latest film Bharat Ane Nenu has emerged as the biggest hit of all his films.
