Just for one fight sequence, megastar Chiranjeevi and team Vishwambhara spends 26 days. It’s for the interval action block of the movie which is going to be one of the major highlights. It is choreographed brilliantly by Ram-Lakshman masters in a costly set consisting of a 54 feet Hanuman statue.

Directed by Vassishta, Vishwambhara is the most expensive film for Chiranjeevi and there will be high moments all through. The interval sequence, in particular will take the audience for a thrilling ride. The team will wrap up this interval fight sequence by today.

UV Creations is pooling the resources for this mega fantasy action adventure co-starring Trisha Krishnan. Vassishta is planned for the Sankranthi release.

Harish Shankar gets the final nod from Megastar

Harish Shankar is one of the most talented directors of Telugu cinema. After a long break, he is directing Ravi Teja in Mr Bachchan and the shoot is nearing completion. Harish Shankar is working with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan in Ustad Bhagat Singh and the shoot got delayed due to the political commitments of Pawan. In this meanwhile, Harish Shankar approached Megastar with a script. The discussions have been going on for the past few months. As per the latest development, Chiranjeevi gave his formal nod and asked Harish Shankar to prepare the final script.

BVS Ravi penned the basic idea and the team is now busy working on the script. The shoot of the film may start in August after Chiranjeevi completes the shoot of Vishwambara. Harish Shankar gets a rare opportunity as he got to direct Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan in the same year. The shoots of Chiranjeevi’s film and Pawan Kalyan’s Ustad Bhagat Singh will take place simultaneously if things fall in the right place. More details are expected to be announced soon.

During a recent interaction, Megastar Chiranjeevi admitted that he wishes to see Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor in the sequel of Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari. “Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor are doing a film together. When I met her recently and I became emotional. Indian cinema lost an actress like Sridevi. I wish Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor will act in the sequel of Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari ” told Megastar. He also said that he lost money in his dream film Syeraa. Chiranjeevi said that he would pick commercial entertainers over realistic films.

Chiranjeevi heaped praise on SS Rajamouli who took Telugu cinema to next level. Megastar also said that the young directors have been delivering interesting and impressive content. Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for Vishwambara and the film directed by Vassishta is aimed for January 10th, 2025 release. He said that he is addicted to social media watching reels. “During the financial year end, I was sitting with my auditors, accountants and lawyers. They had a powerpoint presentation ready and I was busy watching Tamil cooking reels when everyone was busy. They are talking technically and I was watching reels” told Megastar.

Chiranjeevi will resume the shoot of Vishwambara today in Hyderabad. The film directed by Vassishta will release on January 10th, 2025. Mega Prince Varun Tej’s patriotic film Operation Valentine will be gracing the theatres on March 1st. The makers held a pre-release event at the JRC Convention, which was graced by megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest.

While speaking at the event, Varun Tej said, “Megastar Chiranjeevi is the driving force for me in the industry and he is the biggest inspiration. He graced the occasion and it means the world to us. The mantra for the success that he used to say that work hard. We got mega support because of him.

Director Shakti is a passionate filmmaker who shows our soldiers in a good light in the movie. Every one of us tries to protect our family. I feel proud to do a film for the soldiers who left their families to fight on the border for us. We put our blood, sweat, and tears into the movie. Watching this movie is like giving tribute to Indian armed forces.”

Chiranjeevi said, “Varun, after a long time, after his first movie, asked me to come to the event of Operation Valentine. He said the reach will be more if I grace the occasion. I felt it was a great opportunity for me to speak about real heroes. I was very much convinced by the reason behind the title Operation Valentine. I was told that director Shakti did great research on the army and made 20 minutes of short film on the airstrike. The Air Force Officials appreciated him and also expressed their surprise at how he could gather such information. Then, they helped him in writing the story of this movie which is a perfect tribute to our soldiers. Shakti also gave a message to Telugu filmmakers on making films on estimated budgets. He is an inspiration for many young directors.

Because of the atmosphere he observed at home since childhood, Varun couldn’t think of anything other than becoming an actor. I have great regard for the industry. But, Varun Tej never followed me, which I appreciate it. He has been attempting different subjects every time. I think Operation Valentine is the first Telugu movie on the airstrike. The visuals are on par with the Hollywood flick Top Gun Maverick.”

Chiranjeevi also expressed his wish to watch Operation Valentine in advance, before the theatrical release.

Taking a short break from work, Megastar Chiranjeevi flew off to USA along with his wife for a short vacation. Chiranjeevi is honoured with Padma Vibhushan and he was delighted with the gesture. Harish Shankar is one of the best writers and directors of Telugu cinema. He had to slow down after the release of Gaddalakonda Ganesh due to various reasons. He started the shoot of Ustaad Bhagat Singh but the shoot came to a halt after Pawan Kalyan turned busy with AP politics. The shoot resumes later this year but there is no clarity about the next schedule of the film. Harish Shankar decided to complete a quick film and he took up the remake of Raid. The film featuring Ravi Teja is happening at a fast pace and Harish Shankar is in plans to release the film post summer and move on to his next.

Harish Shankar has been in touch with Megastar Chiranjeevi from a long time. He recently narrated an idea and got the nod from Megastar. If Ustaad Bhagat Singh gets delayed, Harish is in plans to start Megastar’s film after the top actor completes Vishwambara. Harish Shankar is now working at a jet speed and is lining up back-to-back films. He also has a couple of other projects lined up and they will be announced next year. He is in plans to fill back the work gap that came over these years.
