Anil Ravipudi’s comic entertainer F2 released to packed houses all over today and it received positive response from all corners. Venky’s comic timing and Varun’s Telangana accent have been widely appreciated all over. F2 managed to get a decent release across Telugu states and with positive word of mouth, there is huge scarcity for tickets.

The number of screens in AP and Telangana are expected to take a lead by Monday. With Vinaya Vidheya Rama turning a dud, most of the screens across B and C centres will be replaced with F2. On the whole, F2 is expected to get a huge boost during this Sankranthi season and will emerge as the biggest hit during this festival season.

On the other side, F2 started off on a flying note across the circles of USA. Most of the audience voted F2 as the Sankranthi winner across social media today.

US B.O : Solid start for F2, pathetic run for VVR and NTR Kathanayakudu

Sankranthi big ticket films NTR Kathanayakudu and VVR are having a pathetic run at the US box office in the first weekend. Meanwhile, F2 – Fun and Frustration, the dark horse of the season which released today, took a solid start there with good number from premiers.

F2 is off to a promising start with $ 250K from Friday premiers. The fun filled trailers and teasers have generated a good buzz in overseas audience and resulted in strong advance bookings. Surprisingly, F2 has surpassed the first day numbers of Ram Charan’s VVR just with its premiers numbers. Venky’s craze among audience and Anil Ravipudi’s decent track record helped the film bigtime. The reviews and mouth talk are encouraging and the film is expected have a solid run in overseas.

Balakrishna’s NTR Kathanayakudu, which started decently with close to half million dollars from premiers, is badly under performing in the first weekend despite good reviews. By the end of today, the total gross stands at $ 707K. The film needs to gross more than $ 2.2M to break even and it looks improbable.

Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is having a awful run as the total gross is $ 212K by the end of its first day including premiers. Despite scoring a blockbuster with his last film, Charan couldn’t draw decent openings as Boyapati Srinu factor and poor reviews are affecting the film bigtime. Going by its current run, it looks like the film will be one of the biggest disasters in recent times.

Tamil biggie Rajinikanth’s Petta has surpassed the million dollar mark ( Telugu and Tamil) by the end of three days.

Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej are set to thrill the Tollywood audience with their multi-starrer outing F2. Hattrick director Anil Ravipudi directed this comic entertainer. Venky’s expressions and his comic timing in the teaser and trailer received stupendous response. A close source revealed that an episode of Venky with a dog will leave the auditorium in loud laughs. The audience will be left in tears too at the same time because of the stunning feat from Venky.

The scene turned out really well and is one of the major highlights of the first half in F2. Anil Ravipudi handled the episode with perfection and this episode will be remembered for a long time. Varun Tej too will surprise with his Telangana dialect and Tamannaah, Mehreen are the heroines. Dil Raju is in plans to return back to success streak with F2. Varun Tej puzzled: Keeps his fans guessing

Mega Prince Varun Tej was left in shock after Anthariksham 9000 kmph bombed at the box-office. The actor pinned all his hopes on F2 which is hitting the screens during Sankranthi. Varun Tej signed a film for Appatlo Okadundevadu fame Sagar Chandra and an official announcement was made months ago. There has been no trace about the project now and the actor did not reveal anything about the film during his recent media interactions.

Though Harish Shankar approached Varun to essay the role of the lead antagonist in Jigarthanda remake, Varun is yet to give a positive nod. He said that he was approached for one of the roles in the film. He is also in talks with Kiran Korrapati for a new age romantic drama that is in pre-production. As of now Varun is knocked with a bunch of interesting projects but he is said to take a call by February and announce it officially.

Varun Tej plays Borabanda Varun Yadav in F2 and will be speaking in Telangana dialect for the first time.

Have been approached for ‘Jigarthanda’ Telugu remake: Varun Tej

Actor Varun Tej has confirmed that he has been approached with the offer to star in the yet-untitled Telugu remake of Tamil film “Jigarthanda”.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the 2014 gangster thriller “Jigarthanda” revolves around a gangster and a filmmaker and what happens when their lives cross paths.

While Siddharth played the aspiring filmmaker, Bobby Simhaa played the dreaded gangster.

Varun Tej has been approached with an offer to essay Simhaa’s role. Harish Shankar will direct the remake.

“It’s true that the makers have approached me with an offer but I haven’t officially signed on the dotted line yet. I’m really considering the offer because it’s a film I really liked. I should be taking a call very soon,” Varun told IANS.

Seen playing an astronaut in his last Telugu release “Antariksham”, Varun is eagerly looking forward to the release of Telugu comedy “F2” this week.

The film has Varun sharing screen space with actor Venkatesh for the first time.

Talking about the experience of working alongside Venkatesh, he said: “I didn’t expect him to be so cool. We had so much fun shooting, and I think the experience helped me to get better at comedy. I’ve acquired great comic skills now.

Devi Sri Prasad is one of the most reliable composers in Tollywood. He is known for coming up with chartbuster songs in all his albums and he rarely fails to meet the expectations of music lovers. He is also the most preferred music director by all star directors and heroes in the current generation. However, in recent times, his music has lost sheen as his tunes are turning out to be monotonous and run-of-the-mill.

Last year, DSP delivered a smashing album with Rangasthalam as every song turned out to be a chartbuster. Apart from Rangasthalam, all his other albums in 2018 received only a lukewarm response from audience. His latest two albums Vinaya Vidheya Rama and F2 also failed to make any impact due to the mundane and repetitive tunes. The mediocre albums couldn’t create any buzz on the films.

Meanwhile, top directors like Trivikram, who previously associated with DSP for numerous films, are now opting to work with other in-form composers like SS Thaman. As of now, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is the only big ticket film in hand for DSP. He needs to comeback very strongly with Maharshi album to maintain his top slot among composers.

Hattrick director Anil Ravipudi is back to test his luck with a comic entertainer titled F2: Fun and Frustration. Venkatesh and Varun Tej are the lead actors in this comic caper and Tamannaah, Mehreen are the female leads. F2 is releasing for Sankranthi 2019 and will clash with NTR and Vinaya Vidheya Rama at the box-office. During a recent interview, Anil revealed that he would surprise the audience through a cameo.

Anil will be seen during the film’s climax in a small role that will reveal a social message for all the female audience. Anil Ravipudi for the first time is making his presence on screen. The teaser and the audio of F2 received thumping response from the audience and the focus stands now on the film’s trailer. Bankrolled by Dil Raju, F2 releases on January 12th all over.

Hattrick director Anil Ravipudi brought Victory Venkatesh and Varun Tej on board for his upcoming comic caper F2: Fun and Frustration. The film is clashing with two biggies NTR and Vinaya Vidheya Rama for Sankranthi. With teaser making waves all over, the makers are quite happy with the buzz that has been generated all over. The two released singles are topping the music charts.

Now Anil and his team are gearing up for a bunch of pre-release promotions. A special New Year interview has been shot on Venky, Varun, Anil, Srinivas Reddy and Satyam Rajesh that will be aired across all the channels on New Year’s eve. Three massive events are planned before the film’s release. A grand audio launch of F2 will take place on December 30th in Vizag.

A grand trailer release event will take place on January 4th in Vijayawada in the presence of college crowds. F2 Team will celebrate the pre-release event on January 7th in Karimnagar. Team F2 will have a special interaction with the press right before the release on January 10th. Anil Ravipudi and his team are leaving no stone unturned to make F2 a Sankranthi blockbuster.

Anil Ravipudi’s comic outing F2: Fun and Frustration has been carrying huge expectations across Tollywood audience. Victory Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah and Mehreen are the lead actors in this comic caper. After the first single ‘Rechipodam Brother’ ended up impressing music lovers, the second single from the film ‘Entho Fun’ is out and is a melodious treat.

The single explains about a brief love track and excitement, expectations of the newly wed couple. The visuals reminds us about Venky’s vintage romance and lyrics look sensible enough. Tamannaah looks ultra gorgeous in the single and Entho Fun is one more fresh romantic hit number from the album of F2. The single connects well to youth and new age couples.
