How serious are Javadekar’s ‘bail-jail’ comments in AP!

0

Senior BJP leader and former union minister Prakash Javadekar created a furore in political circles on Tuesday (today) when he addressed “Praja Agraha Sabha” organised by BJP Andhra Pradesh unit.

Addressing the public meeting, Javadekar said without naming anyone that “There are several people in AP who are on bail, they will be sent to jail very soon.”

Although Javadekar did not name anyone, even a school kid could easily understand and guess who Javadekar was referring to. He was obviously referring to YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy who is out on ‘bail’ currently in quid-pro-quo cases filed by CBI.

But questions are raised about how serious Javadekar’s comments could be taken.

He also lashed out at Telangana CM KCR saying that YSRCP government in AP and TRS government in Telangana were indulging in huge corruption and family rule and they will face the consequences.

This comparison created doubts as BJP Telangana leaders have been repeatedly saying since the last few years that they will soon send KCR to jail in corruption cases which did not happen even today.

Both KCR and Jagan are known to be ‘secret allies’ of BJP. Although KCR is waging a war against BJP after Huzurabad bypoll defeat, Jagan still continues to maintain friendly ties with BJP, especially PM Modi and Amit Shah.

When BJP is dilly dallying to send KCR to jail even after he is after BJP, why would BJP send Jagan to jail who is their secret ally and extends support to BJP on all the issues both inside and outside the Parliament.

Javadekar slams KCR for ‘family rule’ in Telangana

BJP leader Prakash Javadekar on Tuesday slammed Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for his ‘family rule’ in the state.

The former central minister alleged that the state government is a government of KCR, his, son, daughter and son-in-law.

“It is not the government of people,” he said while addressing a public meeting in Kamareddy district as part of the ongoing ‘Praja Sangrama Yatra’ of state BJP chief Bandi Sanjay.

Javadekar alleged that the Chief Minister never steps out of his house and goes to secretariat.

“He calls the secretariat to his house,” the BJP leader claimed.

He said in 2023 polls, BJP’s contest will be with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), and exuded confidence that the saffron party will come to power.

Javadekar also said he is confident that BJP will win the ensuing by-election in Huzurabad constituency.

The BJP leader alleged that KCR failed to fulfill his promise of a job to every household.

“Where are the jobs,” he asked and claimed that the government has not filled one lakh vacancies, which arose during the last seven years due to retirement of employees in various departments.

Stating that there are 1.45 lakh vacancies, Javadekar said only few were filled.

He further alleged that it was not proper on part of the state government to blame the Centre for everything and claim credit for all the schemes including even those being implemented with the central funds.

The BJP leader said that the Modi government at the Centre was giving priority to development of highways. He pointed out that several highways in Telangana were developed during the last seven years.

Bandi Sanjay on Tuesday completed 300 km as part of his walkathon.

Addressing public meetings during the padyatra, he is highlighting the TRS government’s ‘failures’ on various fronts.
