Talented writer and director Madan who penned the story for classics like Aa Naluguru passed away during the early hours of today. He suffered a brain stroke four days ago and was rushed to Hyderabad’s Apollo Hospitals. Madan breathed his last at 1:41 AM today confirmed the hospital authorities. He directed films like Pellaina Kothalo, Pravarakhyudu, Gunde Jhallumandi, Garam and others. After working for years in various crafts, Madan picked up writing and ended up as director. He hails from Chittor’s Madanapalle. He has been away from films for a long time since he delivered a series of flops. Rest in peace Madan.
Mohan Babu playing both hero and Villain roles in Madan direction
Collection king Mohan Babu who gave block buster hits long back has not been giving any hit in recent times. His last movie “Mama Manchu and Alludu Kanchu” also a dud. Now Mohan babu is busy with his next movie. Madan who earlier directed movies like “Pellaina kothalo”, “Gunde Jhallumandi” is the director for this movie . Mohan Babu is playing both the hero and also the villain in this movie. Seems Mohan Babu immensely liked the script narrated by Madan and he himself is producing this movie in his banner.
The film is a family drama revolving around father and daughter bonding. It is made on the lines of Mohan Babu’s earlier hit film ‘Rayudu’ that also revolved around father and daughter bonding. Mohan Babu would be seen as friendly and disciplined father onscreen this time. Malayalam actress Nikhila Vimal who made her debut with ‘Meda Meedha Abbayi’ into Telugu will be playing the role of Mohan Babu’s daughter. Film unit is currently shooting in Tirupathi, and they canned a lavish song with 1,000 junior artistes and 400 dancers under the guidance of Bollywood choreographer, Ganesh Acharya. The film music is scored by SS Thaman.
