King Nagarjuna is busy wrapping up the shoot of his next film Manmadhudu 2. A massive schedule of the film got completed in Portugal and the movie unit is currently shooting for the film in Hyderabad. Rahul Ravindran is the director and Rakul Preet Singh is the leading lady. Nag’s daughter-in-law Samantha will be seen in a special cameo in the film and she wrapped up her portions in Portugal recently.

Nag took his official social media handle to share a picture with Samantha from the shoot. Manmadhudu 2 will release on August 29th and is produced by Manam Enterprises and Anandi Art Creations jointly.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is working on a romantic entertainer with Chi La Sow director Rahul Ravindran. Titled as Manmadhudu 2, the film features Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady and Samantha Akkineni in a special role. The principal shooting commenced in Portugal in the first week of April.

After canning important scenes for nearly five weeks in the picturesque locales of Europe, the team has wrapped up the hectic schedule and returned to Hyderabad. Hilarious episodes between Nagarjuna, Vennela Kishore and Rakul Preet have been shot in this schedule. The team will take a short break before resuming the next schedule in Hyderabad.

Kannada beauty Akshara Gowda has been roped in for a cameo role and the makers are in talks with Keerthi Suresh for a important character in the film. Annapurna Studios is bankrolling the film.

Akkineni Nagarjuna is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming film Manmadhudu 2 which has director Rahul Ravindran at the helm. The story is set in the backdrop of Europe and the team is presently canning breezy episodes between Nag and Rakul Preet Singh in the exotic locales there.

Reportedly, Nag will seen as a Casanova in this romantic entertainer which is said to be a follow up to his iconic super hit Manmadhudu. According to the script, the film will feature more than one female lead. Already, Kannada beauty Akshara Gowda has been roped in to play a special role as Nag’s girl friend in this film. Now, it is heard that Keerthi Suresh has been approached to play a crucial role. The makers have already pitched the character to the Mahanati actress. However, she is yet to sign the dotted line.

Keerthi Suresh has a jam-packed schedule this year as she is simultaneously shooting for different films. So, the makers of Manmadhudu 2 are waiting for her decision. If not Keerthi, they will opt for some other actress.

Samantha has already been roped in for a cameo role in the film. Vennela Kishore is going to play a hilarious role.

Even at the age of 60, seasoned actor Akkineni Nagarjuna is setting mind-blowing fitness goals to other heroes in Tollywood. He is maintaining a fit avatar with regular work outs and strict diet regime. In his upcoming film Manmadhudu 2, Nag will be seen sporting a stylish and youthful avatar.

Yesterday, the makers of Manmadhudu 2 released a few on- location stills and Nag’s age defying looks have stunned everyone. Rakul Preet Singh is playing the film’s leading lady and Rahul Ravindran is directing this romantic drama which is progressing at a brisk pace in Portugal. Nag and Rakul are spending ample time together in gym during shoot breaks.

Manmadhudu 2 is bankrolled by Nagarjuna’s home banner Annapurna Studios. The film is expected to hit the screens in the second half of this year.

King Nagarjuna is occupied with several interesting projects and he is busy wrapping up DevaDas which will hit the screens during September. The latest speculation making rounds is that Nag registered Manmadhudu 2 with the Film Chamber recently. Manmadhudu was a smashing hit in Nag’s career that released in 2002. Vijay Bhaskar directed the film and Annapurna Studios bankrolled the romantic comedy.

It is still unclear if Nag plays the lead role in the sequel or if one of his sons Chaitu or Akhil will take the lead. An official announcement is awaited.
