Nivetha Pethuraj slams False Allegations
Tamil actress Nivetha Pethuraj has done enough number of films in Telugu and she has decent works to her name. The actress took her social media handle to condemn the ongoing speculations about the actress lavishly spending in Dubai. Nivetha Pethuraj said that she has been an independent woman for a long time and her parents are residing in Dubai from the past 20 years. She also requested the media to verify the information before making false allegations. Here is her official statement:
“Lately there has been false news circulating about money being lavishly spent on me. I kept quiet because I thought people who are speaking about this will have some humanity to verify the information they receive before mindlessly spoiling a girl’s life. My family and I have been under extreme stress since few days. Please think before spreading such false news. I come from a very dignified family. I have been financially independent and stable since the age 16. My family still resides in Dubai. We’ve been in Dubai for over 20 years.
Even in the movie industry, I have never ever asked any producer or director or hero to cast me or give me movie opportunities. I have done over 20 films and it was all that found me. I was and never will be greedy for work or money. I can confirm that none of the information spoken about me so far is true. We live in a rented house in Dubai since 2002. Also, racing has been my passion since 2013. In fact I had no idea about the races being conducted in chennai. I’m not as important as you are making it look. I lead a very simple life. After facing a lot of struggles in life I’m finally in a good place mentally and emotionally. I want to continue leading a dignified and peaceful life. Just like any other woman in your family would want.
I am not taking this up legally because I still believe there’s some humanity left in journalism, that they won’t continue to defame me like this. I request journalists to verify the information you receive before spoiling a family’s reputation and not put our family through any more traumas. I’m very grateful to everyone who voiced out for me. May truth behold”.

Story :
Krishna Das ( Vishwaksen) works as a waiter in a star hotel in Hyderabad. Das and friends lead middle class life, want to lead a rich life. Pretending as a rich brat Das cheats keerthi ( Nivetha ). On the other hand Sanjay Rudra ( Vishwaksen) a look alike of Das runs a pharma company which claims discovery of a cancer drug. There is a 10,000 crores deal for which Dhanunjay ( Ajay ) and Sanjay fight for. Eventful sequences lead Das to impersonate as Sanjay. Rest of the story is how Sanjay and Das cross into each other’s space
Analysis :
In first half Das role and characterization are neatly done. Vishwaksen seamlessly transforms into a waiter role. The love story with Keerthi is commercially packed if not with freshness. With his body language and youth centric dialogues, Viswaksen delivers average watch up until interval.
Hyper Aadi, Mahesh as sidekicks to Das deliver much needed comedy dialogues.
Rao Ramesh engages Das to impersonate Sanjay sets the game for second half. As a director, Vishwak overtries from here on. Dual role films turn double edged sword to the director. They get ample scope to generate engage the audience , but sometimes dual roles add to confusion.
Problem with the Das Ka Dhamki script is too many twists, and mainly flipping the identities of Sanjay and Das turn headache by somepoint. Unnecessary violence, Overdose of swear words might help pulling in certain section audience but deters many. Hopefully, those words are censored in India prints. The crucial climax portion and post titles scene also didnt work much. Overall, had vishwak kept it simple in second half he would have scored a winner.
Performances :
Viswaksen as Das did great work, Sanjay characterization didn’t give him much scope to do the same. Nivetha as Keerthi is adequate. Rao Ramesh role is a very predictable boring one.
Production values are top class and audience might feel they are watching a star hero film budgetwise. ‘ Mawa Bro’ , ‘ Almost padipoyinde pillaa ‘ songs are good on screen

Verdict :
‘Das Ka Dhamki’ is an average fare for youth , tests patience for other sections. Viswaksen did a good job as a hero, but couldn’t meet expectations as a director. Too many confusing twists in the second half played spoilsport.

Nivetha Pethuraj’s first-look poster as ‘Bloody Mary’ out
Actress Nivetha Pethuraj makes her Telugu OTT debut in the suspense thriller ‘Bloody Mary’ which is also the first directorial effort of Chandoo Mondeti in the digital space.
The makers of ‘Bloody Mary’ released the first-look poster from the web original, featuring Nivetha Pethuraj.
The poster is engrossing, and has Nivetha, in a badass avatar, sporting an intense look. It comes with a tag line that reads, “If you are bad, she is bloody bad.”
Promising an edge-of-the-seat experience, the upcoming web original by Aha is to showcase Nivetha Pethuraj as the titular character Mary.
‘Bloody Mary’ will start streaming on Aha soon.

Nivetha Pethuraj in demand for Telugu films
Kollywood actress Nivetha Pethuraj is set to make a splash in Tollywood. She grabbed the eyeballs with her impressive performance in Mental Madhilo. Her appealing looks and acting skills fetched her offers in Chitralahari and Brochevarevarura. Both these films received good response from audience and Nivetha’s screen presence has got appreciation from audience and critics alike.
Recently, she has bagged a plump offer in Allu Arjun’s upcoming film with Trivikram Srinivas. She is playing one of the female leads in this entertainer. Nivetha Pethuraj too did not take much time and she had a big yes after she was narrated about the assignment.
As of now, her role has been kept under wraps and Nivetha Pethuraj will join the sets soon. Pooja Hegde is the female lead in this family entertainer and Tabu, Jayaram, Boman Irani have pivotal roles. An official launch took place during Dasara and Kalyani Priyadarshan has been locked as one of the heroines in Chitralahari.
