Raju Gari Gadhi 2 inspired from Pretham

It was a surprise when King Nagarjuna joined the cast of Raju Gari Gadhi 2. Though the film is not a sequel for Raju Gari Gadhi, the film is of the same genre, horror comedy. Ohmkar helmed the film and the film’s basic plot has been adopted from Malayalam blockbuster Pretham. Ohmkar did enough research and is said to have changed the complete script after he borrowed the plot. Nag never knew about Samantha being roped and he never suggested her name revealed Ohmkar. Seerat Kapoor, Vennela Kishore, Shakalaka Shankar, Praveen and Ashwin played other pivotal roles in the film.

“Samantha’s role was not a part of the original and I penned her character around which the story revolves. I have re-written some of the episodes after Samantha has been brought on to the board. It was Venky who listened to the script first but he was occupied with the shoot of Guru after which I approached Nagarjuna. Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is a complete film which will have all the commercial aspects” revealed Ohmkar. The movie is all set to hit the screens on October 13th.

Star hero in talks for Raju Gari Gadhi 3 ?

Two years after the release of Raju Gari Gadhi, its sequel is ready to enthrall the audience from this Friday. As the first part was a runaway hit at the box office, the follow up is carrying good buzz in trade circles. The presence of top tier artists like Nagarjuna and Samantha will ensure the film opens well in all areas.

Interestingly, Ohmkar, the franchise’s director, is eyeing a third installment of the horror comedy. In his recent media interaction, Ohmkar said that he is working on the script for the third part in Raju Gari Gadhi franchise and also revealed that star hero Venkatesh is in talks to play an important role in the film.

Ohmkar, however, added that it is too early to speak about the development. So, if everything goes as per plans, Venky might join this horror franchise. The project might go on floors next year.

Shocker: Nag did not like the trailer of Raju Gari Gadhi 2

King Nagarjuna’s latest outing Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is all set for Diwali release and the theatrical trailer of the film has been released at 10.30 AM today on the eve of ANR’s birth anniversary. The trailer has been packed with interesting and thrilling episodes throughout. However Nagarjuna during the pressmeet revealed that he was not impressed with the film’s trailer. Samantha, Seerat Kapoor played the other interesting roles in the movie.

“I was not impressed with the trailer of Raju Gari Gadhi 2 and Ohmkar asked me a day time so that he will come up with a new trailer. Here is the new one and I was completely happy with it and approved without any change. I am waiting for the final VFX work after which I will complete my dubbing part. If I am not happy with the VFX effects, I will not dub for my role and this is want I informed the makers. Raju Gari Gadhi 2 will sure leave everyone amazed and I thank everyone who contributed their best for the movie” said Nag during his speech.

Directed by Ohmkar, Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is announced for October 13th and Nag will be seen as a mentalist.

Nag’s Raju Gari Gadhi 2 Release Date

King Nagarjuna almost wrapped up the shoot of Raju Gari Gadhi 2 which is said to be a horror comedy. After his entry into the project, the script witnessed several changes and Nag wanted his character to be extended that it lasts long. Samantha and Seerat Kapoor are playing the other lead roles in the movie. Ohmkar who directed Raju Gari Gadhi is helming the sequel and the movie’s budget has been kept up considering the market of Nag. Though the makers wanted to release the film during July, there are special plans being made for the film now.

Raju Gari Gadhi 2 will hit the screens on August 25th as a birthday gift for Nag who is turning 58 on August 29th. Ohmkar too wanted time for the post-production work of the film which has decent VFX effects. SS Thaman is the music composer and Prasad V Potluri is producing Raju Gari Gadhi 2 on PVP Cinema banner. OAK Entertainments is presenting the film.
