Fact “finding” committee could not “find” the website??

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has recently formed a joint fact finding committee with JP and Undavalli Arun Kumar. He recently released logo too for the committee. While announcing the formation of the committee, Pawan announced that he requested for details on Polavaram project but ruling TDP gave an advice to go and check in official website where every detail is present but there is no such information on the website. Now this statement seems to be damaging the reputation of Janasena chief as all the details are already present in the website. Moreover, if a common man could find the website and the details, why the expert team formed for this specific purpose could not find the same?

Earlier, during the press meet, Pawan Kalyan told, “I requested ruling government for the details on Polavaram Project. In fact I asked for a white paper on this. But government did not give me the information even though I am their ally. They asked me check the website. However I found no such details existing in the website”. Former MP Undavalli also seconded Pawan Kalyan as he told, “Earlier, I also requested for the details of spending on Polavaram project. But no one from the government responded. When Pawan requested for the same data, I thought at least they will respond to Pawan, as he is their ally. But they (TDP government) didn’t respond to him as well. Government keeps saying us to check in the website. But it seems there is no such website exists.”

These are the comments by both of them. However, there is a website that has complete details. Website is:

The website has most of the information on Polavaram project like the expenditure details, the work, the dates and the rehabilitation details, the weekly reports, the key conclusions, the decisions made, the G.Os passed regarding this project,R&R (Rehabilitation and Resettlement) details, R&R package details, Physical and financial progress details of the project. It seems the details of project progress was available in the website as on 17-Dec-2017. Which means, whatever the status of the project as on 17-Dec-2017, those details are available in the website.

Now, it is the time for Pawan to answer the questions like, why he was unable to find this data by himself or by his team. Also Undavalli spoke as if the website itself doesn’t exist. If the team is not able to find the website, what facts they can find is the question now. probably Janasena chief needs to check back how good is his team in finding the facts.

Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan who recently called for the AP JAC (Joint Action Committee), inviting Lok Satta President Jayaprakash Narayana and Former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, made some slight, yet welcoming changes for his initiative. The Janasena Chief unveiled the logo of JFC – Joint Fact-Finding Committee.

Prior to the launch of the JFC, Pawan Kalyan addressed the media very recently. He demanded the Centre come up with a whitepaper report of the funds sanctioned to Andhra Pradesh post the bifurcation. Similarly, he demanded the AP State government come up with an authorised report of the development activities carried in the state since 2014. While BJP, led-NDA, the Centre, responded stating that, all the details are already available in the public domain, and there is nothing new they have to release to prove a point. The AP Govt. is yet to comment in this context.

The logo of JFC (Joint Fact-Finding Committee) is both simple and sensible. With the lettering, JFC between the bifurcated states; Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, the text ‘Joint Fact-Finding Committee’ is placed alongside it. Only time will tell whether JFC can bring out something new, or will dance to the tunes of Centre and State.

‘Based on the report of the JFC, a political action will be taken by JPAC – Joint Political Action Committee’, said Pawan Kalyan in his tweet recently.

Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan took to Twitter to thank TRS MP Kavitha in the light of her speech in the parliament. His tweet read, ‘I thank you from the bottom of my heart. ‘Chellelu Kavitha gariki (TRS-MP_) for her support to the people of AP regarding the ‘pledged words & promises’ made by the centre in the Parliament at the time of state bifurcation.’

The tweet was re-tweeted over 3000 times and loved by over 10,000 people.

In her recent speech in Rajya Sabha, MP Kavitha lashed out at the government and called for an immediate solution to resolve the problems faced by Andhra Pradesh. She also said, if the prevailing (row between the Centre and AP) situation further worsens, it could have a considerable impact on the nation from globally.

Pawan Kalyan recently called for Andhra Pradesh JAC (Joint Action Committee) to fight against the injustice towards the state of Andhra Pradesh. Lok Satta Chief Jayaprakash Narayana and Undavalli Arun Kumar came forward to extend their support to Pawan Kalyan.

Political analysts feel that Pawan Kalyan’s announcement of AP-JAC is one of the key reason, for the Centre to come forward and declare that it would fulfil the commitments made in the AP Reorganization Act 2014 or the Special Package.

Out of 20cr reportedly makers have given 15cr and Trivikram has given 5cr as he has done the film on profit sharing basis. Appreciable news is that the buyers have already got money.

Addressing the media representatives, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan called for an AP Joint Action Committee similar to that of TJAC – Telangana Joint Action Committee. The recent press meet has gathered the immense attention from both the national and state media. The press meet began with Pawan Kalyan briefing about the reason behind Janasena extending its support to TDP-BJP alliance in 2014 elections.

Why I supported TDP-BJP?

‘As a common man, I believed that Modi would be doing justice once he comes to power, after seeing what UPA has done during its regime. I met Modi in Gujarat, and we discussed the problems for a brief while. Though the problems that are likely to arise after AP Bifurcation are not exactly at Modi’s disposal, they are to be perceived as Legacy problems. After BJP and TDP came to power in the Centre and the State respectively, I held myself for the 1st year.

When I took the responsibility on behalf of the Telugu people, I felt that I need to be more patient, and should be clear in my observations. Likewise, I was very happy after BJP announced 10 years Special Status to AP in its manifesto.

With time, the promises were pushed back behind the Centre and State politics and political leaders. I was patient for over 18 months, and it was high time that I had to react.

Special Package comes into play

After I started ‘Special Status’ agitation in Tirupathi and Kakinada, the Central government came up with the ‘Special Package’. At that, AP CM Chandrababu lauded the Central Government and BJP in particular. He opined that Special Package is far more beneficial that Special Status itself. But alter, the same CM flew to Delhi, with a 17-point draft, arguing that the state is being deprived of them.

I strongly believe, there is a lack of clarity and transparency, from both the Centre and the State. The Centre claims that it has released all the necessary funds as promised in the Special Package, and asks the state government to submit utilization certificates on how the funds were spent. Meanwhile, the TDP-led AP Government says, there is no need to submit the bills to the Centre.

Pawan proposes AP Joint Action Committee

I tried immensely to reach to an understanding about what the Centre fulfilled as a part of the Special Package. To my utter disappointment, I was never able to reach a conclusive position with the lack of sufficient information from both the ends.

Hence I put forth the proposal of AP Joint Action Committee headed by intellectuals like Undavalli Arun Kumar, and Lok Satta Jayaprakash Narayana, and others.

Similarly, every one of us is losing faith, trust and confidence in AP State Government. Despite lacking sufficient financial resources, an agency has declared that the state of Andhra Pradesh is highly corrupted. There is a need to know how much funds the State has received from the Centre, and where were they spent.

I regret not contesting in 2014 election polls!

I strongly believe that many aspects regarding the Special Package are being fabricated. All that I want is the people of the state to benefit. Today, I strongly regret my decision of not contesting in the 2014 election polls.

All the political leaders are making false claims, and deceiving the people with their promises. I started hearing the word ‘demographic dividend’ from many politicians in recent times. If they intend to do fool the people, they should be prepared to face the backlash. The whole things are nothing but a ticking time bomb according to me. There is no way we can achieve justice by holding some slogans and placards outside the parliament.

Janasena supports the strike (bandh) called out by oppositions

Talking about the statewide strike by opposition parties, I do extend my support, promising that the strike doesn’t lead to violence. We need to fight politically, and not with our fellow civilians. Janasena extends its support towards protesting against the Centre and State Government in a peaceful and civilized manner’.

Janasena Chief, Pawan Kalyan political character will be put to test in the coming few weeks, given his tour in Srikakulam on February 21st.As soon as he announced his Srikakulam Tour in support of the Fisherman community, Tribal welfare organizations and groups expressed their dissatisfaction over the Janasena Chief.

The Adivasi Aikhya Vedika called for the ‘Aadivasi Godu (Tribal Cry) Mahasabha’ and Chalo Srikakulam in a bid to oppose and protest against Pawan Kalyan’s Srikakulam Tour.

‘It is imprudent, irrational and foolish of Pawan Kalyanasking government to announce reservations to the Fisherman community under ST. We will not allow him to tour in Srikakulam. We will oppose, protest and fight against him if he chooses to come here,’ said the representatives of the ‘Aadivasi Aikhya Vedika’ organization. Adding to this, the tribal welfare organization also called for a statewide strike (bandh) in tribal regions.

Speaking at the press meet, the president of Aadivasi Aikhya Vedika questioned Pawan Kalyan’s silence over Tribal community all this while. ‘Why isn’t Pawan Kalyan talking about various other issues promised by TDP in their manifesto? Why is he not talking about the Tribal community? We don’t have any nominated heads for GCC and other Tribal welfare programs from the Tribal community’.

The welfare organization also called for burning effigy of Pawan Kalyan on February 15th in Srikakulam.

Producer, Tammareddy Bharadwaj who is known for his take on politics and film industry in recent times, once again came out hard, in a polite manner on AP CM Chandrababu, Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan and YSRCP Chief Jagan. In his latest YouTube video, Tammareddy Bharadwaj called for a common understanding of the existing problems that are coming in way of development of Andhra Pradesh.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj started off the video, calling Agnyaathavaasi the biggest failure in Pawan Kalyan’s career, and held PK fans equally responsible for it. The former producer took a dig at the new channels, questioning the Media take on Pawan Kalyan.

‘Is the media perceiving him as an actor? Politician? Or a Social Activist? I don’t understand the attitude of the people while reacting towards a Pawan Kalyan topic. It looks like few people who are attacking PK, and others claiming as PK fans are in a deep identity crisis,’ said Tammareddy.

Parallelly he drew comparisons between the statements made by Jagan, CBN and Pawan Kalyan, on the lines of special status and special package. ‘Right from CBN, PK and Jagan, everyone is stating that BJP which shelved the concept of Special Status to AP, is not even fulfilling the promises made under the special package. On the contrary, BJP is calling it as a foul play and stated that it is indeed fulfilling everything promised under Special Package, and it is up to the AP (TDP) Government to implement these schemes.

Tammareddy questioned the dissimilarity in the statements pronounced by Modi, CBN and PK. ‘Prior to the 2014 election polls, Pawan Kalyan who supported BJP-TDP alliance, also promised that he wouldn’t shy away from questioning the government if they don’t fulfil their promises.

CBN cleverly refrains away from the issue, citing the alliance with BJP, and pronounces that he would go to the court if required. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan says that he will speak when required. And Modi (BJP) claims it has delivered its promises. How can these three, who were in alliance, speak three different version?

Parallelly, Jagan is busy in his Padayatra. He doesn’t make any concrete appeals regarding the Special Status or Special package.
At times, Chandrababu says, there is no need for Special Status, as the Special Package is more beneficial. And again, he blames the Centre for not granting special status. At this juncture, YS Jagan says, he shall extend support if BJP promises Special Status! So where is this going on?

Is BJP, CBN, Jagan and Pawan Kalyan trying to mislead? Let’s ignore CBN and Jagan for the meantime. What about Pawan Kalyan? It is really sad to know Pawan Kalyan too is being on the same lines. If we tend to take a liberty and advise Pawan Kalyan, we end up getting trolled by PK fans.

I pledge Pawan Kalyan come out with a clear mindset, briefing about the action plan. He should ensure that his fans and his supporters (websites) don’t start trolling when we put for an.

For me, a leader is someone who thinks about the problem and then comes up with a viable solution. Pawan Kalyan has the responsibility to clear the air on many aspects, and he needs to focus on resolving many issues that are currently lying ahead of him. If he still says that, he will speak when required, it wouldn’t make any sense. It’s been three to four years since he launched the party, and it is high time for him to direct his fans, and his supporters in a proper manner. We need clean politics, and definitely not hate politics.

I believe we all are working towards the same goal; development of Andhra Pradesh. For that, we need to work together, putting everything behind time, and go ahead,’ concluded Tammareddy.

Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan has asked the AP state government to support Kadiyam nursery farmers. Kadiyam is a mandal in East Godavari district. Nursery farmers from this place met Pawan Kalyan at his party office and explained their problems. After the discussions, Pawan requested AP government to support these nursery farmers.

Main problem, these nursery farmers facing is – Andhra Pradesh government has not identified them as farmers, instead it treats them as busines traders. Because of this, they can’t electricity for free like farmers. Moreover, as they are considered business people, officials of various departments are harassing them, they say.

Pawan spoke to the press and said that the Kadiyam nursery farmers are bringing recognition to state as they are producing different plants and exporting them across the country. He requested the government to recognize them as farmers and provide them free electricity. He reiterated that Janasena will stand by then until their problems are resolved.

Politician and Tollywood star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi has been reeling under copy right controversy. Telugu360 has revealed that the makers have plagiarized the content of French movie Largo Winch. ‘Jerome Salle’ film director of Largo Winch who had been following our updates, speaks to Telugu360’s editor Krishna in a freewheeling interview about Plagiarism row, his experience of watching the film and the future course of action.

Even before Agnyaathavasi team can think of recovering from the losses, the makers may need to sort out a legal tangle as director Mr.Jerome Salle is making quick steps to sue them for plagiarizing.  In an exclusive interview with Telugu360, Mr.Salle made an shocking revelation. Till date general perception is T-Series is having remake rights for this film for Indian languages , T-Series and Agnyaathavasi makers came to an ( financial) understanding was speculated in media. But Mr.Salle revealed that , “Indian company (T-series) just took an “option to buy” the rights. They ( T-Series) didn’t actually buy the rights. When I read the tweet about the movie, inspired by Largo Winch, I thought that T-series is making the movie in Hindi, for which they “hold” rights. I didn’t realize until later that it was getting remade in Telugu, for which no one except Largo Winch Production company has the rights“.

It may be noted here that, when a production house takes an option to buy the rights, they blocked the producer from selling the rights to another company by depositing some amount. So evidently T-series has blocked it but has not completely purchased the rights. (Jerome Salle makes it clear that T-series hold option rights only for Hindi)

Meanwhile, there were speculations that Agnyaathavaasi team tried to settle things with T-series. Mr.Salle who has been keenly following the reports, is aware of gossip and sent out letters to Harika Haasine, while the French production company of Largo Winch sent notices to T-series. Neither of the parties, reverted to the letters wrote. “Even T-series has an option to buy rights only for Hindi and not for Telugu or any other Indian languages. We will mostly hire a lawyer in India and move forward accordingly. If there are any jurisdiction problems, we might as well sue them in France or USA as the movie was screened in these places. Not only the story line, but climax was also not altered from the original version. I was especially taken aback at unabashed lifting of Climax scene. People certainly get inspired by other movies but this is blatant stealing”, said Mr.Salle

He said that while he read about the movie being copied from his Largo Winch, he did not talk about it until he watched the movie in Paris. While on one hand, he is upset over the plagiarism, Mr.Salle was awestruck by the popularity of actor Pawan Kalyan. “I thoroughly enjoyed the screening experience of the movie with fans in Paris. I never knew how big of a star is Pawan Kalyan. Due to this series of events, I read that he is venturing into politics. So, it is better he settles these things”

Speaking about Indian Film Industry, Mr.Salle noted that he respects the industry a lot and is important for him. Meanwhile, he is planning for few more movies both in English and French.

Despite having a solid lineup of projects, the producers of Mythri Movie Makers are in a spot of bother.

Rangasthalam pre release business is lukewarm

In the making for a long time, Ram Charan – Sukumar’s Rangasthalam is not getting the desired business deals in Telugu states. In Nizam, the film was supposed to do a pre release business to a tune of 20 Crores. Disappointingly, there are just offers in the range of 15-16 Crores. Similarly, the production is looking for a 12-14 Crore deal in Ceded. But, the business is likely to close at 9 Crores.

In Andhra, the film is expected to do a business of 35 Crores. Unfortunately, buyers are willing to come forward only if it the rights are valued at 30 Crores.

The production house has incurred heavy interests due to the long delay in the project. Initially, they hoped to bag good profits banking on the crazy combination. However, they are likely to scrape through only with little profits ( 10-12 Crores) due to the Amazon deal.

Advances paid to Pawan Kalyan and director

Long back, Pawan Kalyan committed to work for a film, to be directed by Santosh Srinivas, under Mythri Movies banner. They paid an advance of 9 Crores to Pawan two years ago. And few months ago they paid the remaining amount( total 20 Crores as remuneration) as Pawan promised to start their project first despite other commitments. Additionally, Mythri has been bearing all expenses on the pre production activities of the project.

With Pawan Kalyan taking to full time politics, there is no clarity on when he will work on this project. Even though he returns the money, they will lose the interest and other expenses spent till now on the project.

Even though Mythri has given back to back blockbusters, it is not a easy ride for Mythri.

They have Naga Chaitanya’s Savyasachi lined up next and few more interesting films for the next couple of years.

New twist: Is Pawan meeting Modi soon?

Pawan is in “Chalo re chal” tour and he has toured some parts of Telangana recently and currently touring Ananthapuram district. One thing that he is repeatedly saying in all these meetings recently is he is preparing a report on these issues and he will soon present that report to Prime minister Modi. He said the same thing in Telangana meetings as well as in his Anathapuram meetings. This would have not caused a big debate, had it happened in some other time, but when BJP and TDP are at war of words and when YSRCP chief Jagan is openly offering to ally with BJP, Pawan meeting with Modi will definitely be a point of discussion.

Though Pawan supported NDA in 2014, he later fired salvos at BJP and it’s leaders for not granting Special category status to AP . Moreover, CM Chandra Babu’s request for PM appointment has been rejected by BJP several times. In the mean time, YSRCP chief Jagan’s open offer to BJP surprised many. While CBN and Jagan are finding it hard to get PM’s appointment, those who heard Pawan saying he will be soon taking the Ananthapuram farmers to PM and presenting him the report with issues and actions needed on those issues really surprised many.

Some analysts are relating Pawans one-to-one meeting with Governor Narasimhan a month back to this latest development. Usually governors will have direct access to central government and secret meeting of a politician (of any political party) with governor is usually seen as increasing positive developments between that politician and ruling party at center.

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan teamed up with Trivikram for the third time with Agnyaathavaasi and the film ended up as one of the biggest disasters of Telugu cinema. With buyers losing huge amounts, the makers have been in talks with each and every buyer personally and have been collecting their proposals to compensate a portion of the loss. Trivikram Srinivas is said to have returned Rs 5 crores from his remuneration and he will not be sharing any profits from the film. The production house Haarika and Hassine Creations too finalized a certain amount to return back to the buyers.

The producers along with Trivikram met Pawan Kalyan and revealed about their plans. Pawan Kalyan is yet to speak out to them about this as he got with his political engagements. Top producer Dil Raju who bought the Nizam rights of Agnyaathavaasi lost close to Rs 20 crores and was the first one to meet the makers. Dil Raju had an interesting proposal which impressed Trivikram along with the team of Haarika and Hassine. Harish Shankar has a bound script ready for Pawan Kalyan and if the actor gives his nod, Raju is in plans to wrap up the film at the earliest and compensate the buyers of Agnyaathavaasi with this project.

Trivikram is said to have promised to discuss about this proposal with Pawan Kalyan and the project totally depends on Pawan Kalyan’s decision. Else Haarika and Hassine would return back some amount and offer NTR – Trivikram’s film for decent prices.

Agnyaathavaasi worldwide Closing Collections

Agnyaathavaasi has closed it’s worldwide business with a distributor share of close to 58 cr. Theatrical rights of the film including expenses are valued at 128cr which tallies a loss of monstrous 70cr. This is the biggest disaster ever in TFI history and 2nd biggest in India. The result of the film is a huge shocker for trade as it didn’t even collect as much as their previous combination film Attarintiki Daaredi. Instead it gave losses on par with amounts that film has collected. The year has started on a bad note for TFI.

Pawan Donated 1.1 Million For Temple

Pawan Kalyan kickstarted his political yatra ‘Chalo Re Chalo’ from Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy Temple yesterday and the first day went well without any hiccups. Power star shared that the reason behind starting his key political tour from Kondagattu. Power star strongly believes that it was due to the blessing of Kondagutta Hanuman Swamy only he escaped death while campaigning for Praja Rajyam Party during 2009.

So as a token of respect and the strong belief in god miracles Pawan Kalyan has donated 1.1 million to the Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple authorities for the development of the religious place. It was observed on many occasions that Pawan Kalya gives high importance to spiritual things and the Hindu rituals he does on daily bases. Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has been quite busy with political activities after the shocking result of Agnyaathavaasi earlier this year. But at the same time, this doesn’t mean he is totally away from filmdom. He is now planning to produce a film with Nithiin in the direction of Krishna Chaitanya.

Incidentally, the long time friends Pawan and Trivikram Srinivas will be jointly producing this venture. But the buzz also says that the entire money has been invested by Shresth Media and the duo’s names are just used for namesake. The profits will be given to this duo just for using their names!

Another news says that Pawan Kalyan has given Rs. 2 crores on the day of the film’s beginning and most likely that’s the investment given by the star. The estimates say that this film would have an expenditure of Rs. 15 crore and Trivikram’s share in this is again debatable. All in all, Pawan seems to plan out his multiple roles of film industry in intelligent style!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s recent outing Agnyaathavaasi released during the Sankranthi season between huge expectations and the film ended up as the biggest debacle in the history of Telugu cinema. This Trivikram directorial has been badly rejected by the audience so that the film could not rake decent figures during Sankranthi holidays. The buyers who invested huge sum suffered hefty losses and there have been speculations that the makers would compensate for the losses.

The buyers have been promised partial refund from the production house Haarika and Hassine Creations. Some of the buyers attended the meet yesterday and the makers promised to refund Rs 15 crores while Trivikram promised to refund Rs 5 crores from his remuneration. With Pawan Kalyan sharing no profits for the film, he will not refund any part from his fee informed a source close to the movie unit. We have to wait and see how the makers will convince the buyers with their partial refund who lost huge amounts. Trivikram is all set to team up with NTR for his next which will roll from March this year.

Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan has started his Yatra in a state where a Professor who fought for Statehood was time and again denied permission. Everytime the professor sought a permission, court had to decide on the due course of action. In past three years the chief minister never met this professor who was an associate of Telangana idealogue Professor Jayashankar. On the other hand Jana Sena Chief starts his chalo re chalo re chal campaign from Telangana. Gets all the lime light which no other party could get but ends up showering praises on KCR. He went ahead and said, “KCR united political parties and people believe that Telangana transpired because of KCR”.

This certainly answers the question as to how he got the permission for his Yatra. Pawan Kalyan who otherwise claims that he is an ardent reader, certainly needs better understanding of Telangana agitation. He had the best chance to emerge as alternative force due to the support from youth segment. Kalyan is miles away from reaching out to students of Osmania University which was the Telangana Porugadda. He will be nothing more than a movie star for people of Telangana.

It is evident that he rejected BJP’S invitation but swore allegiance to KCR .

Is it a hint towards third front or is Jana Sena’s ally TDP merging with TRS? While time will answer the question, Kalyan’s tour certainly is not for all people to tell him his problems.

By showering praises on KCR, he has already conveyed the message to people that he will go soft on government and there is no pointing bringing issues to his notice.

Young and energetic choreographer Jani Master is one among the top and busiest dance masters of Telugu cinema. Directing Pawan Kalyan is his dream and he penned an interesting script and he narrated it to his favourite actor long time ago. Pawan too was impressed with the script and gave his nod for the film sometime ago. However the project has been kept on hold because of Pawan Kalyan’s commitments. Jani Master too wanted to direct Pawan Kalyan and so he never narrated the script to any other actor.

As per the current situations, Pawan Kalyan is no more doing films because of his political engagements. Jani Master met Pawan Kalyan recently and Pawan promised to produce the film on his home banner Pawan Kalyan Creative Works. However the lead actor is yet to be finalized and an official announcement is awaited. On the whole Jani Master is a delighted man as he is finally working under the production of his favourite actor.
