Aggressive promotion for Akhil

Akhil Akkineni is busy wrapping up last leg of shoot of his debut film Akhil in Austria. With this European song shoot schedule, shooting of the film will be completed.

Akhil is coordinating with his public relations team in a big way and is planning a huge promotional campaign for this prestigious project. Bollywood style campaign has been planned which involves touring multiple cities in India ans Overseas for promoting the film. 3 cities in USA have been earmarked by the team and modalities of the tour are being worked out.

Sayesha Sehgal is paired with Akhil in this film. Akhil has an ensemble album composed by Thaman and Anoop Rubens. Young hero Nithin is making his production debut with this film. Akhil is slated to release on October 21st 2015. V.V.Vinayak promises to deliver an out and out mass film with a socio-fantasy touch.

Nandamuri Bala Krishna’s next action entertainer in the direction of Sriwass, Dictator is being extensively shot in picturesque locales of Europe. In the last schedule a song was picturized on NBK which is written eulogizing Lord Vinayaka. Now the makers are planning to release a teaser or audio of the song on Vinayala Chaviti, September 17th 2015. Producers Sriwass and Eros are planning a special strategy for the promotion of the film and kick starting the campaign with this song months in advance of release. Dictator will release for Pongal 2016. S.S.Thaman is scoring music for the first time for a Bala Krishna film.

Race Gurram sequel on cards ?

Hotshot filmmaker Surender Reddy hinted on a sequel to his blockbuster action entertainer Race Gurram. Starring Allu Arjun and Shruti Haasan in lead roles, the film had notched up a share close to 59 Crores and remained as the biggest hits of 2014. Surender Reddy’s taut screenplay backed up by stupendous performance from Allu Arjun and chart busting songs given by SS Thaman have helped the movie to emerge as a winner at the box office.

Now, Surender Reddy is planning a sequel to this film. Taking to a presser about his latest release Kick 2, the director has revealed that he is planning to direct a sequel to Race Gurram. He added that a perfect script might prompt him to direct the sequel very soon. So, it would be interesting to see if Surender Reddy comes up with one more sequel in the coming days. He is currently working on script for Ram Charan’s project.
