After AR Rahman backed out from the prestigious Tollywood film, SyeRaa, which features Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role, the makers are on the look out for a talented music composer who could do justice for this ambitious project which is made on a grand scale.

According to the latest reports in media, director Surender Reddy has finalized talented Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi to render the soundtrack for the film. After considering several names, team SyeRaa has decided to rope in the ‘Queen’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ composer for this highly anticipated period drama.

Amit Trivedi has already been roped in for soon to be launched Prabhas – Radhakrishna project.

So if this news turns out to be true, SyeRaa will be the second Telugu film to be signed by Amit Trivedi. An official confirmation in this regard is awaited.

After the stupendous comeback into stardom with Khaidi no 150, Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to enthral the audience with historic epic Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy directed by Surender Reddy. The film had initial shooting for ten days but was stopped in between. While some speculations said the initial rushes will be scrapped off due to lack of quality, here is an interesting update.

The scene featuring Chiranjeevi on a horse and jumping between two trees was shot and came out to be exquisitely good. Some are even saying it would be the entry shot for megastar in the movie.

The second schedule is subjected to happen soon in an exclusively erected set in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The costume designing is commencing in Annapurna Studios. Even special weapon design is happening to suit the depth of the flick.

However, a clarity on when the schedule will start is yet to happen.

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ambitious period drama SyeRaa Narasimha Reddy has wrapped up its first schedule in December. After taking a brief break, the unit is getting ready to kick start the second schedule from the 23rd of this month.

Nayanatara, the film’s leading lady, will join the sets and crucial episodes of flashback will be canned in this schedule. Both Chiru and Nayan will take part in this long schedule which will progress till March end. Amithab Bachchan and Vijay Sethupati will join the sets very soon.

An official confirmation about the music composer is yet to be out after AR Rahman’s exit.

Mega star’s prestigious movie “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” is on roll. Test Schedule has been done and crew is all set for longer schedules in the direction of Surender Reddy. However, till now there has been no clarity on who is going to be music director for this magnum opus.

With A.R Rehman announcing that he is not doing this film, film unit came back to square one again on music side. There were rumours that Rehman was quoting remuneration of around 10 crores as it will be marketed as Rehman’s musical in several languages. After Rehman’s exit, Baahubali musician Keeravani’s name was considered for this project, as per grapevine. But no official confirmation yet.

Now, with Chiranjeevi meeting Ilaya Raja recently, rumors started rolling that he is seriously considered for Sye raa movie. Probably Chiranjeevi might have met him to discuss on facilitating him from Telugu film industry as he got Padma Vibhushan award recently. We need to wait and see whether this proposal will materialize or not.

Unexpectedly, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 151st film Syeraa Narasimha Reddy shooting has stopped in the middle. As per the latest updates, the makers have started shooting in Hyderabad for 10 days and the actor has now suggested some changes in the script, especially dialogues. So, the team Sai Madhav Burra, Satyanand, and Paruchuri Brothers are currently busy in giving a final touch to the dialogues.

Chiranjeevi quite impressed with Balayya dialogues in Gautamiputra Satakarni and asked Sai Madhav to focus more on dialogues like as powerful as in it. The makers have erected a huge set in an aluminium factory in Hyderabad and have completed shooting for 10 days. After the completion of the final script, the makers will start shooting for the remaining sequences.

Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently busy with the shoot of Syeraa which is touted to be the costliest film made in his career. Surendar Reddy is directing this periodic epic and there have been wide speculations that Megastar was not happy with the work of the young director after wrapping up the first schedule. The movie unit has been tight-lipped about the rumours and have been busy planning the next schedule.

Megastar’s look has been kept under wraps and it has been taking three complete hours for the actor’s make-up to be done. Hence Surendar Reddy advised body double for some of the action episodes but Megastar straightaway rejected Surendar Reddy’s proposal. He revealed that he would shoot himself for the episodes to get things right. The next schedule of Syeraa is being planned to take place in Kerala from February 20th.

Made on a huge budget, Syeraa will be releasing in all the Indian languages and is being produced by Konidela Production Company banner.

After AR Rahman’s exit, it has been widely speculated that Thaman is most likely to be named as replacement as he gave a thumping background score for the film’s motion poster. Denying the reports, Thaman clarified that he hasn’t been yet approached by the makers.

In the meantime, reports emerging that seasoned composer MM Keeravani is also in consideration for this big budget entertainer. Sources say Surender Reddy and producer Ram Charan are in a dilemma to decide who would be render full justice to SyeRaa, a period drama which chronicles the life history of Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy.

SS Thaman, who is one of the most sought after composers in Tollywood at present, though, not worked for period and historical films proved his mettle with a pulsating score for the motion poster and turned the attention of everyone.

On the other side, MM Keeravani’s has a handy experience as he worked for big budget and period films in Tollywood like Baahubali and Magadheera. So, he would be an ideal choice to work for SyeRaa.

As of now, both these composers are in contention to join the star studded SyeRaa. We have to wait and see who among these two will bag the golden opportunity.

150 junior artists from UK have been finalized and they will participate in the shoot during the crucial freedom fighting episodes. Rathnavelu has been finalized as the cinematographer and he will wrap up Rangasthalam 1985 by the end of November and will join the sets of Syeraa. Nayanthara and Pragya Jaiswal have been locked as the female leads and Anushka is in talks for the other female lead in Syeraa. Charan’s Konidela Production Company will bankroll this big budget periodic drama.
