Satya Dev’s Gurtunda Seetakalam locked it’s release date

Talented actor Satyadev and milky beauty Tamannah are going to appear on screen together through their upcoming romantic drama, titled Gurtunda Seetakalam. The film, which has good buzz among the cinema buffs will release in theatres on September 23rd.

The news was confirmed by the makers today. Announcing the news, makers wrote “The Saga of Love, Affection and Warmth in #GurtundaSeetakalam will Embrace You In theatres on Sep 23, 2022.” The release date was announced with a cool romantic poster featuring the Satya Dev with three beautiful actresses at different stages of his life.

The trailer of Gurtunda Seetakalam which was released earlier is well-received by the viewers. The film will narrate the story of finding true love in today’s age and era. It is the remake of the Kannada blockbuster Love Mocktail.

Nagasekhar has directed and also produced the film. MM Keeravani’s son Kaala Bhairava rendered the music. The film also Mega Akash and Kavya Shetty in significant roles.

Tollywood’s known producers Bhavana Ravi, Ramarao Chintapalli and Nagasekhar are jointly bankrolling the project under the banners of Nagashekar Movies, Manikanta Entertainments and Sri Vedaakshara Movies.

Tamannah Bhatia to star in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Babli Bouncer’

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen starring filmmaker Madhur Bahndarkar’s upcoming movie ‘Babli Bouncer’, a coming-of-age fictional story of a female bouncer, set in the real ‘bouncer town’ of North India – Asola Fatepur.

Sharing her thoughts on kick-starting the shoot, actor Tamannaah said: “As soon as I read Babli Bouncer, I fell in love with the character because it is one of the most exciting and fun characters with substance that I have come across.”

She added: “Madhur Sir has a flair for crafting defining female protagonists and Babli too is such a powerful character. For the first time, a film will explore the story of a female bouncer, and I am more than excited to be her voice. I can’t wait to dive into this whole new world.”

Bhandarkar, who has given hits such as ‘Fashion’ and ‘Corporate’, shared: “As a filmmaker, there is a lot to be excited for and look forward to, when you get the chance to explore a never-before-told narrative. I want to portray this story of a female bouncer through a slice-of-life comedic tone that also leaves a lasting impact.”

He shared that with the shooting of ‘Babli Bouncer’ starting today, he is ready as ever to bring forth this story from the world view of women bouncers.

“Babli Bouncer is one such story which we feel should leave a lasting impression on the audiences. We are excited to embark on this journey with Junglee Pictures, Madhur and Tamannaah to create what should be a very heartwarming and uplifting entertainer,” said Bikram Duggal, Head of Studios, Disney Star, India

Amrita Pandey, CEO Junglee Pictures added: “Babli Bouncer tells a rooted, inspiring and feel-good story of an endearing and powerful character Babli.”

The movie, which explores the unseen world of bouncers, also stars Saurabh Shukla along with Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid in pivotal roles.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, Babli Bouncer is directed by Madhur Bhandarkar and stars Tamannaah Bhatia, in the lead. Concept, story and the screenplay: Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath and Madhur Bhandarkar.

The movie will be released at the end of this year in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia says she has seen a lot more successful films in the South.

Tamannaah is one of the most prominent names in the South film industry and has even featured in Bollywood with films such as “Himmatwala”, “Entertainment”, “Humshakals” and “Tutak Tutak Tutiya”.

Asked between south or Bollywood films which one is the most difficult to headline, Tamannaah told IANS: “I saw a lot more successful films in the south and it just is very simple. The industries work in exactly the same fashion. There is no difference in the work. At the end, wherever you get success that place accepts you a lot more right?”

The 31-year-old actress, who has starred in Southern blockbusters including the “Baahubali” franchise, “Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavanace”, “K.G.F: Chapter 1” and “Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy” among many others, aspires to reach out to a global audience.

“I feel I got that in and received that kind of love and fan following in the south and I aspire that the kind of work I am doing I will be able to reach out and continue to reach out to a more pan-India and hopefully global audience.”

The actress, who was recently seen in the web-series “November Story” on Disney+ Hotstar VIP, is now gearing up for the Telugu remake of the Hindi thriller “Andhadhun”.

The Telugu version is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.

Arun Adith, Jayaprakash, Vamsi Krishna and others are part of the web series.

Aha will streaming the web series from 9th of April.

There is no official word from the makers of Gurthunda Seethakalam about the project. Kaala Bhairava is on board to compose the music and Nagasekhar Movies are the producers of Gurthunda Seethakalam.
