Why are YSRCP MLAs jittery over secret reports

1

The YSRCP MLAs across Andhra Pradesh are a worried lot. Many of them are feeling jittery over the credible reports that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is gathering reports about their performance. What is worrying them more is that Jagan is getting reports about the role of the sons, close relatives and family members of the MLAs in the constituencies.

Sources say that the reports are being filed by the village volunteers that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appointed. The volunteers are going round the villages under their jurisdiction and are documenting the actions – both positive and negative – of the MLAs. They have been reportedly told to collect information about the MLA’s sons, relatives and close associates and their corruption. The report, if sources are to be believed, has already landed at YS Jagan’s desk in Tadepalli.

For instance, there are reports that an MLA’s brother in Prakasam district is known to collect his cut for every work. Similarly, a senior MP’s son in Nellore too in involved in collecting commissions. There are also reports that close relatives of ministers and MLAs in Kurnool and Anantapur are resorting to large-scale corruption. Sources say that some of these ministers and MLAs are considered very close to YS Jagan.

According to sources, YS Jagan is taking these reports into account in his cabinet reshuffle. Sources say that he has already taken decision on several sitting ministers based on the reports submitted by the village volunteers.

Time for unquestioned loyalty: YCP Capital districts MLAs

1

The Amaravati farmers’ agitation has got national level attention. All Opposition parties and intellectuals are demanding withdrawal of Three Capitals proposal. Public mood is rising against CM Jagan Reddy decision ahead of the crucial Cabinet meeting tomorrow. What more, critics and farmers are accusing YCP MLAs in Capital districts of hiding from the public criticism. Against this backdrop, Jagan Circar came out with a new plan to counter the rivals. Special instructions are being given to the Capital districts MLAs to openly defend Capital shifting from their region. They should do it aggressively. They should speak of how development imbalances would provoke regional agitations and how Jagan proposal would solve this problem.

Already, Chilakaluripeta MLA Vidadala Rajani has strongly supported Capital shifting. Her constituency is located 40 kms away from Amaravati. But it is not the same with Tadikonda and Mangalagiri MLAs who have not spoken till now. These segments are located in the core capital region. Any small statement will condemn their political careers forever. Especially, Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is not coming before the public for fear of facing angry protests from his own party cadres. Excepting these two MLAs, others in the two Capital districts are under pressure to raise their voice. Time has come to display loyalty to YSR family. But, at what political cost. People will decide.

Sab ka Malik Jagan hain?

0

The excessive praise of CM Jaganmohan Reddy by his party MLAs is reaching alarming and comic proportions in the Assembly. A YCP ST MLA went on comparing Jagan to all the Gods under the sun.

He said that Jagan is like Valmiki Maharshi for the Boya community, Jesus Christ for the SCs, Allah for the Muslims and so on. The entire House listened to him in surprise. Jaganmohan Reddy was enjoying the speech initially but later he too was stunned at the final remarks of the ST MLA. He concluded his speech saying that Jagan is like Shirdi Sai. He is the one and only who aptly deserves the divine message ‘Sab ka Malik Ek hain’. The over-enthusiastic almost concluded that Sab ka Malik Jagan hain.

Jagan himself was splitting with laughter at this and he raised his hands and said Namaskar appealing to the MLA to stop the excessive praise.
