Telangana government is all set to construct a new Secretariat complex and Legislative Assembly at Bison Polo grounds in Secunderabad. Minister of Roads and Buildings Tummala Nageswara Rao disclosing the blue print of the iconic model said that it will have all the facilities of the Prime Minister’s office.
It will have three floors, with the offices of the Ministers on the third floor, while Secretaries will sit in second floor and HODs taking the ground floor.
The building designed by well-known architecture firm `Architect Hafeez Contractor’ will cost around Rs 300 crore.
Secretariat building will be spread across 10 to 12 acres of land while the remaining 38acres will host Legislative Assembly and Council, and Kalabhavan.
The foundation stone will most likely be laid on Dusshera.
