The actor is quite picky about his films and he rejected several scripts in the recent times. The latest update we hear is that Venky is keen on working with Malayalam director Priyadarshan who made a strong impact in Bollywood. Known for remaking blockbusters, Priyadarshan too has been extremely interested in working with Venkatesh.
The duo met recently and they discussed the possibilities of teaming up for a film. It has been revealed that Venky appreciated Priyadarshan for his work in Oppam featuring Mohanlal in the lead role. A right script will make the combination possible revealed sources. Venkatesh is yet to sign his next film and he is currently listening to scripts.
