Jagan is planning to start his foot march from November 6th. He met media Baron Ramoji and sought his blessings ahead of this ” pada yatra”. As per YSRCP leaders, Jagan met Ramoji to request him to give proper coverage for his padayatra in Eenadu, the largest circulated Telugu daily. But it seems Jagan meeting Ramoji is not going well within his community.
Reddys embraced Jagan more so than Ramoji because of his fearless attitude. The rebellious attitude of Jagan, as displayed during his initial days of political career and his revolt against Sonia Gandhi during bi elections before 2014 was admired by many youngsters particularly in Reddy community. Also for whatever reason, a section of Reddy’s feel Ramoji is their biggest enemy. They in fact adulated YS RajaSekhar Reddy for waging war on Ramoji. Even Jagan followed his father’s foot prints later, and attacked Ramoji and his paper through write ups in Sakshi.
However, things changed after 2014. First time when Jagan went to RFC and met Ramoji, Reddys thought it was an aberration. Now meeting second time, is undigestible for some big wigs in the community. In fact, not just the big wigs but many fans of Jagan got embarrassed with this move. Some of them are trying to project this move also a strategy by Jagan, but not many are buying their view.
