VVR Krishnam Raju, who made offensive comments about women in Amaravati, is now on the run. Andhra Pradesh Police are searching everywhere to catch him. His house in Ayodhya Nagar, Vijayawada is locked, and no family members are there. Police teams are working hard to find him and arrest him.
Krishnam Raju has been fooling people by claiming to hold many big positions. He calls himself: Editor of an English magazine called Journalist, President of the Andhra Pradesh Editors Association, CEO of AP TV Journalist multimedia news agency, President of a group named Swadharma Vigyan Vedika, where he gives religious lectures and Leader of the Kshatriya Rights Protection Committee.
He talks about morality in public, but now serious questions are being raised about his real background. During the previous YSRCP government, Krishnam Raju faced many serious allegations. He used fake names to get multiple journalist ID cards. He was involved in land scams and used political links to protect himself.
Police have now formed three special teams under Tulluru DSP Murali Krishna. They are using modern tracking tools to find out where Krishnam Raju went after leaving Vijayawada. Officials believe he may be arrested very soon.
Krishnam Raju was close friends with Kommineni Srinivasarao, who was already arrested for making similar comments. Because of this friendship, Krishnaraj got a chance to appear on Sakshi TV debates between 2014 and 2019, where he often criticised the TDP government and the Amaravati project. His link with YSRCP leaders was strong. Sakshi newspaper used to cover his events, and his magazine once gave an award to Kommineni, calling him “Journalist of the Year.”!
