Veteran comedian Brahmanandam entertained the Tollywood audience for over three and half decades. He is one among the highest paid comedians and he carried several films on his shoulders which even had star heroes in the lead roles. However Brahmi suddenly vanished and has been seen in very limited films from the past couple of years. Most of his recent films ended up as duds and there have been comments that his comic timing turned outdated for the audience. The actor is all set to don a new avatar as a host for a comic show on small screen. The television show starts today and the actor during his recent interview revealed the real reasons for falling short of offers.
“I turned quite selective and started picking up interesting roles that will thoroughly entertain the audience because of which Brahmanandam is seen in limited films. I also wanted the next generation audience to essay different types of comic roles. I always follow Live and Let Live policy. There is heaps of talent among the young generation and I want to see them perform well on screen. I have done enough films and entertained the audience to the core. Now it’s time for the next generation actors to prove their mettle. I am not here to dominate others and earn money. I am satisfied with my career. Now I am testing my luck as a host” revealed Brahmanandam.
