After scoring two back-to-back hits with Krack and Veerasimha Reddy, director Gopichand Malineni announced his next with Ravi Teja and this is their fourth collaboration. But the project was kept on hold due to budget issues. Ravi Teja has been demanding big remuneration and the makers are struggling to close the Hindi and the digital deals. The latest ongoing buzz says that the makers approached Ajith as a replacement for Ravi Teja.
Ajith was quite impressed with the narration of Gopichand Malineni and the formal nod was given. Mythri Movie Makers felt that Ajith would be a right choice and they are considering his solid market in Tamil. Ajith’s films are also getting decent openings in Telugu. Hence, the project may get finalized and announced very soon. The shoot starts next year if all goes well.
