Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy is going super strong at the box office. Director Gopichand Malineni is appreciated for striking a balance between action and emotion in the film. He spoke to media after the movie success.

Gopichand revealed the work and detailing that went into Balakrishna’s look in the film. “I always say I am a big fan of Balakrishna garu. He is very handsome. I took utmost care in designing his look. The black shirt still has become his iconic still. The black shirt and goggles have become a trend today,” Gopichand revealed.

“I have good rapport with Ram – Lakshman masters. They worked for all fights in Krack. They know the pulse of Balakrishna garu. They design the action part as if a scene and ensure the emotion is not missed. That is the reason for so much of response to the action part,” he explained about how the action part is designed.

He also said it was a conscious decision to have an emotional second half. “I made the first half as a fan and the second half as a director. The sister sentiment in the second half today is touching the hearts of the families and that is the reason for such massive response from the family audience,” he told.

Sources say that the team landed in Istanbul City in Turkey for the new shooting schedule. They will shoot an important part of the movie with the prominent cast taking part in it.

Director Gopichand Malineni posted a selfie picture of himself alongside Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan from the shooting location.

Sources say that other than the talkie portions, action episodes will also be filmed in this schedule.

The makers provided two back-to-back treats on Balakrishna’s birthday by releasing a ‘First Hunt’ video and then following it up with a poster.

The movie, apart from Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan, also features Duniya Vijay, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles.

Krack director files a complaint against the producer

Krack is racing towards the biggest hit in the career of Ravi Teja and the film brought him back to track. The film’s director Gopichand Malineni is appreciated for his work and he is showered with compliments. Even the film’s leading lady Shruti Haasan is back with a bang with Krack and the film turned out to be a memorable project for many. The film faced financial hurdles and failed to release on day one as planned. But the film received a positive response from the first show of its screening and collected huge money all over.

But the film’s director Gopichand Malineni is not a happy man. Gopichand is yet to receive his full remuneration as promised and he filed a complaint with the Telugu Film Director’s Association. The film’s producer Tagore Madhu failed to respond to the calls of Gopi after which the young director filed a complaint. Tagore Madhu argues that the director did not complete the film in the promised budget because of which the balance amount was not paid.

Even after the film turning a super hit, the issue is not sorted and Krack landed into one more controversy. There are speculations that Krack would be remade in Hindi soon. We have to wait to see how the remuneration issue gets sorted.

Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja has been struggling for the right success and he pinned all his hopes on Krack, a mass entertainer that is packed with action. Ravi Teja and Gopichand Malineni are teaming up for the third time after Don Seenu and Balupu. Shruti Haasan is the leading lady and Thaman composed the music. The film faced financial hurdles and the release got delayed today. Krack released with the night shows across Telugu states. Here is the complete review of Krack:

Story:

Krack is the story of Pothuraju Veera Shankar (Ravi Teja), a ruthless cop who deals three different goons in different locations. One among them is Yasin Bhatkal (Chirag Jani), a most wanted terrorist. Shankar heads for a clash with Katari Krishna (Samuthirakani) who commits several crimes in and around Ongole. Krack has nothing new to offer with the plot as it is based completely on a regular commercial Template of Telugu cinema. The film heavily banks on action and the heroism of Ravi Teja.

Gopichand Malineni who relied on the entertainment switches genre and proved that he can deliver an out and out mass entertainer. Krack is a perfect comeback for Ravi Teja and his comic timing, performance have been top-notch. The first half banks on action and elevation episodes. The film also gets some exceptional actors on board and they delivered their best. All the episodes between Ravi Teja and Samuthirakani have been top class.

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Ravishankar, Devi Prasad, Sudhakar and Vamsi Chaganti did their roles well. The interval episode elevates the film completely and the first half of Krack is a perfect package that will appeal to all the sections of the audience. The songs are good and they are shot well. Thaman and GK Vishnu are the heroes behind the Scene for Krack.

The second half carries the momentum of the first half and two big action episodes make the film passable though the second half of Krack sounds completely predictable. Ravi Teja completely carries the film on his shoulders. Gopichand Malineni will surprise you and he excelled with his presentation. The songs in the second half too are strictly average. The Ongole bus stand fight along with the climax stunt stands out.

Ravi Teja is back with a bang and he carried the entire film on his shoulders. His comic timing has been exceptional and the veteran actor took enough care on his styling especially during the elevation episodes. Shruti Haasan has a meaty role but she does her part well and has prominence. She lost her charm on screen and should work out on her looks. The family thread looks decent. Shruti Haasan’s fight in the second half sounds like the director took too much liberty. Samuthirakani is the other highlight of Krack. All the other actors did their parts well.

Krack offers nothing new with the script as it comes with a regular commercial template. The action episodes are exceptional and they elevate the film well. Thaman’s background score takes some of the episodes to the next level. GK Vishnu’s cinematography work stands out throughout. The second half of Krack has no scope for entertainment and it continues on a serious note. The production values are good and the songs are strictly average. The production values are decent. Gopichand Malineni does his job well with Krack.

Struggling director refutes rumours of a film with Nagarjuna

Score a flop, you will get another film as a director if your vision sounded new to stars and producers. Score a super hit, but your film has routine masala content, then you will struggle to get heroes convinced with your scripts.

If the above line is put to test, then we have director Gopichand Malineni surfacing up as an answer for the second logic. Though he did Pandaga Chesko with Ram Pothinien in 2015, it took him two more years to come with Sai Dharam Tej’s Winner in 2017. Despite Gopi claiming these two as hits, still, he is jobless in Tollywood.

Though Sai Dharam Tej was supposed to do another movie, and a bunch of other heroes earlier expressing interest to work with him, they have all backed out as he is not coming out of the ‘routine masala’ cocoon. Finally, he’s heard captivating Raviteja’s interest again, but rumours surfaced that he is going to direct Nagarjuna soon.

Refuting all the rumours, the director clarified, “There is false speculation about my next film. Pre-production work for my Next film with Ravi Teja garu is going on full swing. We will update further details very soon”.

That will successfully complete a hat-trick for Ravi and Gopi, who delivered Don Seenu and Balupu earlier.
