Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi is all set to release on 10th January. Though the teaser smelled similar to Attarintiki Daredi and the audio was classy and not able to cheer masses, the song that released last week (Kodakaa) enthralled masses and raised expectations on the movie. However what’s annoying Pawan fans for last few weeks is TV channels extensive coverage for Katti Mahesh’s comments on Pawan. This self-proclaimed critic is not leaving single opportunity to attack Pawan. And, his every comment finding space on major channels including tv9. It seems there is a gap between Pawan and these news channels.
It is known news that Agnyaathavaasi audio function rights were given to TV5 where as usually Tv9 and NTV get these rights. It seems these top channels are offended due to audio release rights issue and so they have been aggressively campaigning against PK brining in people like Katti Mahesh. TV channels were offended by the reply pawan gave them ( business is business ) when NTV Chowdary personally called PK.
If one remembers, similar issue happened for Baahubali too. Incidentally Baahubali rights also were given to TV5. But the main issue that time was Baahubali team focusing completely on national media and ignoring Telugu media. Telugu media, most of the times, was asked to get the details and footage from other language media.
Today, there is a meeting with production team of Agnyaathavaasi and TV channels. Will they be able to bridge the gap? We will come to know very soon..
