The officers of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) are still continuing their investigation into the murder of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy in Pulivendula over two years ago. The CBI team is visiting the Kadapa district today. This is after a gap of over 7 months.
The CBI team arrived at the guest house in the Kadapa Central Jail yesterday. They are all set to restart probe into the Viveka murder. In their previous visits prior to 7 months, the CBI team questioned several persons including workers in the house of the former MP.
Amid this, the speculation is rife that the CBI officers might question the key persons allegedly involved in the murder case. The case is considered politically sensitive. Hence, the investigating teams are treading very carefully. In the past, there were reports that the CBI might question even Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy.
Viveka’s daughter Sunitha Reddy has filed a case and named Mr. YS Avinash Reddy and his father YS Bhaskar Reddy among the accused in her father’s death.
