Jana Sena Party Formation Day Press Meet 2017

On the third anniversary of the party, Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan thanked all the supporters and volunteers who are working for the party. He cleared the air about several issues and confirmed that his brother Chiranjeevi will not join him as their views are different.

Speaking about the structure of Jana Sena, he said that importance will be given to youth leaders and sixty percent of the seats will be allocated to them. However he expressed the need to have seniors in the team who are well aware of the people’s issues. The actor turned politician said that the party has identified 32 items on which they will create awareness among the people.

On the topic of contesting in 2019 elections, Pawan Kalyan said that Jana Sena is preparing to poll in all the constituencies of both the Telugu states. He established that he will be contesting from Andhra Pradesh and expressed wish to contest from Anantapur.

The Jana Sena chief said that he has learnt from the experiences of Praja Rajyam Party. Consequently he wants to take the next steps very carefully. Furthermore, he confirmed that he is not part of the NDA alliance and said that once the party is fully functional, they would introspect about forming alliances. The actor turned politician set a target of March2018 to complete the organizational setup of Jana Sena which will be initiated from June,2017.

He held that that Jana Sena has resilient volunteers and iterated that the party was set up with good intentions and for the welfare of the people. He said the surveys do not matter to his party. Pawan Kalyan said, “We are doing as much as possible now, but will start working full fledgedly after structuring the party”

When queried about the role in Telangana, he said he will be visiting Sangareddy as he received complaints about pollution in that area. He said he will voice his opinions about people’s issues in Telangana as well. He asserted that politics should function without the influence of money.

On the third anniversary of the party, the Chief launched the Jana Sena Party website . He introduced Janaswaram , a platform for taking suggestions from public. The registrations for NRI’s is open however, the registrations for other memebers is yet to be launched. The website in its issues lists – Uddanam Nephropathy, Aqua Food Park and Special category status.
