The Customs officials have conducted surprise raids in several locations of Kerala yesterday and the premises of celebrities like Prithviraj Sukumaran and Dulquer Salmaan are in the list. Dulquer Salmaan is known for his passion towards luxury cars. The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the officials of Customs have seized two luxury vehicles that belonged to Dulquer Salmaan. The young actor owns a Land Rover Defender and Toyota Prado with Tamil Nadu registration and both were seized.

Dulquer Salmaan is the third owner of the vehicle. The officials have conducted raids on the Kochi residence of the actor. The raids were conducted as a part of the tax-evasion racket that involved luxury vehicles that were imported from Bhutan. Several teams have raided in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Kozhikode, and Malappuram. The vehicles were registered in Himachal Pradesh and they are transported to other states. The officials are inspecting high-end car showrooms about the fraud and notices were served. A total number of 36 luxury vehicles were seized yesterday in the raids in Kerala. Six cars of actor Amith Chakkalakkal were seized. The officials predict that there are 150-200 vehicles in Kerala alone
