This Diwali, Team Patang dropped their biggest announcement yet — the vibrant sports comedy is all set to release in theatres on December 25th, 2025!
Originally planned for a December 2024 release, Patang was postponed to give extra time for extensive CG and post-production work. Now, the film is ready to deliver a grand festival of fun, color, and competition — just in time for Christmas!
With kite-flying at its core, Patang promises a never-before-seen sports comedy that’s bound to entertain audiences across all ages.
Starring Preethi Pagadala, Vamssi Pujit, and Pranav Kaushik in lead roles, alongside Anu Hassan, S.P. Charan, Vadlamani Srinivas, Vishnu Oi, and Sivanarayana, the film also teases a few exciting cameo appearances.
Directed by Praneeth Prattipati under the banners of Cinematic Elements and Rishaan Cinemas, jointly produced by Vijay Sekhar Anne, Sampath Maka, Suresh Reddy Kothinti, and Naani Bandreddi.
Adding more excitement, a leading production house is joining hands to present the film for a grand-scale Christmas release.
