Leading multiplex chain encouraging film piracy

In what can be a shocking news to South Indian film industry, a leading multiplex in Bangalore has become the centre for film piracy. What is more alarming is that the recently released Suriya’s 24 was filmed on the first day morning show in one of the screens in the popular multiplex.

It is learnt that the pirated version of 24 was out just hours after its release last Friday. Huge number of piracy CD’s have been recovered in Chennai and Bangalore after a complaint was lodged by ’24’ makers. They were in huge shock after knowing that the film was first pirated in a leading multiplex in one of the popular malls of Bangalore.

The makers of 24 have lodged complaints in Chennai and Bangalore and the digital license of the multiplex chain is likely be cancelled. More details about this news will be updated soon.
