Supreme court rejected the petition filed by Tamil Nadu government stating that Andhra Pradesh doesn’t have ownership over the Sadavarti Satram lands on Friday. The apex court made some serious comments against the government of Andhra Pradesh stating that it will not keep quiet if the government lands are sold at throwaway prices.
The Supreme Court has questioned the state for the difference of about Rs 40 crore from the first bid to the second. AP Government explained to the court the Bidding process and said that the highest bidder has withdrawn. The government tried to buy additional time, subsequently the trial was postponed to October 6.
