Tamil actor Karthi’s Vaa Vaathiyaar has been delayed due to the financial hurdles and the film finally cleared all the hurdles and released during Sankranthi 2026. Vaa Vaathiyaar ended up as a huge disaster and the film failed to bring the audience to theatres despite no competition during the holidays. The film’s Telugu release was pushed due to the bunch of Telugu releases during Sankranthi. The makers had plans to release the film in Telugu soon. But in a sudden shock, Vaa Vaathiyaar is streaming on Amazon Prime from tomorrow. This is a huge shock for everyone.

After the film’s disastrous run at the box-office, the makers have decided to go ahead with the early digital streaming. The film will not have a Telugu theatrical release and the Telugu version of Vaa Vaathiyaar titled Annagaru Vostaru will stream on Amazon Prime from tomorrow along with Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Vaa Vaathiyaar is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and Krithi Shetty played the female lead. KE Gnanavelraja is the producer of this action cop drama.
