A Aa did very well on Monday with a Share of 2.31 Cr from AP & TG states . The drop is less than 35% compared to friday (3.40 Cr) .Best hold came in Nizam area followed by UA & Nellore. The drop is less than 30% here. Remaining areas like ceeded, Guntur, east,krishna & west has maintained 55-60% of friday figures. Besides all these 1st monday for A Aa is 5th day where as generally it will be a 4th day for most of the movies as they release on friday.

We live in a hero-driven industry where the highest remuneration is reserved for him alone. So much so, the director, who is the captain of the ship is paid lesser than the male lead. Well, if you are Trivikram, though, the scene is altogether different because you are either paid on par or even higher.
And guess what! For his latest release, his remuneration was a whopping Rs 15 crores – one third of the film’s budget. Apparently the makers offered him Rs 12 crores but he negotiated and got a hike.
Well, with the positive response to A…Aa, they may not complain now!
Trivikram Srinivas’s A Aa, starring Nithiin, Samantha and Anupama Parameshwaran, is the last big ticket film this summer. A Aa is tipped to be a clean family entertainer with plenty of Trivikram’s trademark one-liners. During the promotions, Trivikram claimed that he worked on this film from ground zero, just like in his fledgling days as director. Let’s see if the film can end the summer season on a positive note.
Story :
Trivikram penned this story, which thankfully does not have the audience’s brain working on an overdrive. Mahalakshmi (Nadiya) is a successful Hyderabadi entrepreneur and a dominating wife which is typical of any Nadiya casted roles now-a-days. Ramalingam (Naresh) is her husband and Anasuya(Samantha) is their only daughter. Mahalakshmi controls every aspect in Anasuya’s life, personal and professional, with very little or no regard to Ramalingam’s advice or Anasuya’s wishes. Frustrated with her mother’s continuous iron clad interference in her life, Anasuya attempts suicide, luckily she survives the ordeal.
Her concerned father (Naresh) sends Anasuya to recuperate at her maternal uncle’s family house in the Kalavapudi village. Anand Vihari( Nitin) is her uncle’s son (bava). During the 10 days she spends in the village, Anasuya starts to enjoy her life, her time with Anand Vihari and the village customs. Also living the same village are Pallam Venkanna (Rao Ramesh) and his son (Ajay) and daughter Nagavalli (Anupama Parameswaran). With these situations and the characters setting the premise for the movie, the rest of the plot unravels as the characters interact with each other and life as she knew it changes for Anasuya when she comes back to the city 10 days later.
Analysis:
First look “A Aa” appears to be a clever rehash of Bommarillu movie at its core. The father-son relation from Bommarillu is replaced with the mother-daughter relation in this movie. Later, Trivikram’s magic start to show as a second layer of ‘family values’ and ‘village backdrop’ are weaved into the plot.
Natarajan Subramaniam, the cinematographer, has well presented the Trivikram’s vision of village landscapes on celluloid. While cinematographer captured the geographical beauty, Trivikram has captured the beauty of the people and nativity so well. The audience will find like the feel good moments spread through the movie.
However, do not expect Trivikram’s punch mark dialogues nor his trademark rib tickling comedy. There are good dialogues and one-liners but not of his previous works’ caliber. Screenplay wise it is pretty straight forward and scores good. Due to a single thread story, the second half of the movie is filled with routine scenes with lag. However, the climax more than makes up for it and the audience will come out of the theatre in a positive mood.
All songs are situational, coming at appropriate timing and with good picturization. Rang De song stands out the best of the five songs.
Actors:
Surprisingly, Samantha is the show stealer. Trivikram’s trust in her abilities is not misplaced and Samantha does full justice to the role. One cannot imagine a better heroine from current lot “for this role”. She got perfect author backed role and on top of it, her costumes, makeup and physique etc… everything worked just great.
Rao Ramesh scores next for his soft villainy role. Once again it has been proved he is a very valuable director’s artist, if director is capable of controlling him from being overboard. Especially in climax scene, he gets the maximum applause.
Nitin is good fit for the innocent role he played, this movie will for sure help him in his career. He will get more mileages from family audience. Anupama Parameswaran’s makeup is odd and she’s uncomfortable in the role. For her pretty face, her makeup could have been better taken care of.
Naresh, Nadiya, Srinivasa Reddy, Ajay, Ananya (as Nitin’s sister Bhanu) are all good in their roles.
Positives:
* Climax and dialogues from climax.
* Nativity in first half.
* Feel good characters, clean family movie.
* Situational songs that perfectly sync with the movie flow.
* Samantha’s characterization.
Negatives:
* Comedy could have been better.
* Trivikram mark punches are missing (with the climax being an exception).
* Routine scenes from mid second half to climax.
* Anand Vihari’s sister characterization in second half is not convincing enough
Verdict:
A Aa is a good film for families this summer. First half of the movie is a decent entertainer, while second half is routine. However, the climax will leave audience on a positive note. Though there is nothing great about this movie, the above average content aimed at family crowd will work at box-office. For the youth, we have Samantha at her career best. In the Overseas and in the “A” centers, “A Aa” movie will be a profitable venture for all involved. An easy watch in theatre. Enjoy the movie!!

Final report:
A Aa is good entertainer, a clean movie with nice comedy, trivikram style dialogues and sentiment. .Movie is little slow in pace in parts and has few predictable scenes. Excellent climax makes it up for slow pace pre-climax.
We can see glimpses of old Trivikram in climax. Heart touching and Feel good climax makes this movie A Aa a hit with family audience. Never seen such beautifully crafted climax in recent times for an ordinary family movie. Only negative is second half is slow in parts.
Should do well at box-office, especially ‘A’ centers. A good film for overseas audience and ‘A’ centers.

Trivikram’s celluloid ‘A Aa’ is of the most awaited films of telugu film industry which is having huge expectations in the audience.
This film which has completed it’s shoot long back is still awaited for the release. The filmmakers are taking good enough time to release this film in the most appropriate period. Till yesterday, there was a confusion in the release of this film, since Mahesh Babu’s ‘Brahmotsavam’ release date was not clear. But the superstar himself has revealed the release date of ‘Brahmotsavam’ yesterday. This film is going to have it’s worldwide release on May 20th. By this all the people thought, ‘A Aa’ release date would also been finalised, but to much of everyone’s surprise, the filmmakers are still in dilemma about the release date of the film.
As ‘Brahmotsavam’ is making it’s way on May 20th, ‘A Aa’ would have the chance to hit the screens on June 1st week. But as per the trade analysts, the month of ‘June’ is not ideal for the film release since this is the time for all the schools to reopen and all the families will be busy in the works of their kids. Keeping this in mind, the filmmakers are giving a lot of thought on the release date of the film.
The young actor ‘Nithiin’ who is a die-hard fan of ‘Pawan Kalyan’ has once again expressed his admiration and love towards him in the audio launch of ‘A Aa’.
‘Nithiin’ who is a self-proclaimed fan of ‘Pawan Kalyan’ has always tried his best to express his love towards this superstar whenever he gets a chance. He has done the same thing yesterday also in the audio launch of ‘A Aa’. Nithiin who has been one of the most sought hero’s of telugu film industry today, has explained how he was able to pull off his first chance in ‘Jayam’ and in what way ‘Pawan Kalyan’ has helped him indirectly. He also remembered the initial days of his career when he went for the first screening of his life. He also revealed that he has acted like Pawan Kalyan and danced for his steps which in-turn has impressed the director ‘Teja’ and he reportedly gave him the chance for his first film ‘Jayam’.
In this way, Nithiin has expressed his admiration towards Pawan Kalyan in the audio launch of ‘A Aa’. Slated for the grand release very soon, this film comes under the direction of ‘Trivikram’ and ‘S. Radha Krishna’ has bankrolled this project.
Actor turned director Srinivas Avasarala, who made his directional debut with the cute romantic entertainer Oohalu Gusagusalade, will soon be directing a film which is titled Jo Achyutananda.
Telugu360 has exclusively learnt that Srinivas has roped in talented youngsters Nara Rohit and Naga Shaurya for the leading roles in the film. Sai Korrapati of Varahi Chalana Chitram will shepherd this project which is likely to go on floors very soon. Touted to be a comedy caper, the music for the film will be composed by Kalyan Koduri.
Nara Rohit is currently working for a bunch of his upcoming films and Naga Shaurya has recently wrapped up two films. Avasarala Srinivas is now shooting for Nithiin’s A..Aa. The regular shooting of Jo Achyutananda will roll out once they are done with these films.
The regular shooting of ace director Trivikram Srinivas’ next project will kick start from the16th of this month. Nithiin is playing the lead role in this film which is titled A..Aa – Anasuya Ramalingam and Anand Vihari.
