Talented Actress for Bunny’s Next?

Moving on from DJ, Allu Arjun’s next film in the direction of Vakkantham Vamsi was recently launched. Since the actor is bringing back Pooja Hegde to Tollywood with DJ, there is huge curiosity over which actress he will romance next.

Although the name of young Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna is doing rounds, she hasn’t been finalized. Instead, talented Malayalam actress Nivetha Thomas, who impressed Telugu film lovers with her striking performance and enchanting looks in Nani’s ‘Gentleman’, may grab the lucky opportunity of pairing with Bunny in ‘Naa Peru Surya – Naa Illu India’. Nivetha has done a photo shoot on Friday and the makers of NPS are heard to be quite impressed.

A little birdie has informed us that actor Nani has recommended Nivetha to Bunny Vaas for NPS. For the unknown, Bunny Vaas is the trusted accomplice of Allu Aravind and is the No.2 decision maker in Geetha Arts camp. He is a close confidant of Allu Arjun too. Nani and Bunny Vaas have been friends ever since the duo collaborated for ‘Bale Bale Magadivoy’. Hence, Nani’s recommendation has worked and Nivetha has become the prime contender for this potential project.

Now a days, even top directors, leave aside a debutante like Vamsi, are limited only to shortlist heroines, its the heroes who take the ultimate call.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is back with his upcoming movie Duvvada Jagannadham which has been told to be a stylish action entertainer. Harish Shankar directed the movie which wrapped up all the post-production formalities. Allu Arjun essaying the role of a Brahmin brought many controversies and to avoid issues, the makers even made changes for a song. Duvvada Jagannadham completed censor scrutiny today and it has been awarded U/A with heaps of appreciations. The film passed the censor screening without any cuts.

An inside talk revealed that Duvvada Jagannadham has nothing to make it into the controversies. The makers are pretty confident on the film which is said to be the biggest ever release among Bunny’s films. Pooja Hegde played the female lead and Dil Raju produced DJ which brought enough table profits prior to the release. Duvvada Jagannadham is all set for June 23rd release all over.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is back trending and he has been making enough noise with his next outing Duvvada Jagannadham. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film features Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. The entire post-production work of the film has been wrapped up and the movie unit along with Allu Aravind watched the film in a special screening last night. With the movie heading for censor, Allu Aravind suggested minor corrections and Harish Shankar along with his team made those changes.

The movie will complete the censor scrutiny today and is gearing up for June 23rd release. Popular producer Dil Raju bankrolled the film and Duvvada Jagannadham will mark the biggest ever release among Bunny’s movies. The audio of the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad is already a massive hit and Allu Arjun’s stylish looks have been receiving wide response. Duvvada Jagannadham is one of the most awaited films and it has done a massive pre-release business. Rao Ramesh, Subba Raju and Murali Sharma played the other important roles.

BlueSKy Cinemas is taking all the steps to release this movie as Bunny’s Biggest Release in Overseas. We are releasing in as many as about 300 locations in all the overseas countries. In USA alone we are releasing about 160 locations.

In Middle East,it’s being released in about 50 locations followed by 20+ locations in UK, 20+ locations in Australia and New Zealand, 15 locations in Europe, 10 locations in Canada, 5 locations in South Africa, 5 locations in Singapore and Malaysia and others10 to 15. It’s also being released in Jamaica in South America, Hong Kong, Philippines and Bangkok.

According to the director Harish Shankar, DJ is an 100% family entertainer which has all the ingredients to entertain you through the movie. He also said climax will be a blast with different concept from routine climaxes.

Music is being composed by none other rock star DSP and all the songs are rocking as usual. Bunny will be seen with his best dance movements and performance in the move.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s next film has been launched today in Hyderabad with a pooja ceremony. Star writer Vakkantham Vamsi is making his directorial debut with the film which will start rolling from June 21st. The movie has been titled ‘Na Peru Surya’ and the tagline is ‘Na Illu India’. The movie is said to be an action entertainer and Allu Arjun is said to essay the role of an army officer in Na Peru Surya.

The makers unveiled the title along with the logo and Vishal Sekhar will compose the music. Na Peru Surya will be produced by Lagadapati Sridhar, Nagendra Babu and Bunny Vaas. The movie is all set for release during early next year. Bunny is currently busy promoting Duvvada Jagannadham which has been aimed for June 23rd release. Harish Shankar is the director and Pooja Hegde is the heroine.

Music sensation Devi Sri Prasad has set very high expectations on the album of Duvvada Jagannadham with two energetic numbers that were unveiled few days back. Let’s now see what he has in store with the complete album.

The album begins with the title track DJ…DJ which is heavy on Sanskrit lyrics that extol the hero as the saviour. The energetic vocals by singer Vijay and the impeccable lyrics penned by Jonnavithula have been backed by a hard-hitting composition from DSP. The DJ..DJ war cry stands out as the best part of this energetic number.

In his bid to provide a clarity on the recent controversy created by Duvvada Jagannadham’s second single, ‘Gudilo Badilo’, Harish inadvertently leaked the film’s core story. He said that DJ is based on the mythological point, ‘Shapadapi Sharadapi’, which means a Brahmin can achieve victory either by Shapa (Curse) or Shara (Weapon). Either way, he can defeat his enemy and achieve what he intends to do. So, DJ is about a youth who destroys the evil in society by curse and with weapons.

From the released promos so far, DJ looks like a perfect blend of action, romance and entertainment. The film is a hot cake in market with buyers from all areas offering the career highest deals to grab the film’s rights. The controversies created by the promos are only helping the film get free publicity.

Carrying huge hype, DJ is slated to hit screens on June 23. The film will have to compete with Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’, which also releases on the same day, at box office, especially outside the Telugu states.

Harish Shankar responds on DJ song controversy

The recently released ‘Gudilo Badilo’ song from Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham might have turned out to be a big hit, but it has landed the makers in a controversy as some Brahmin sections opposed the lyrics. They said that the lyrics have hurt the sentiments of Brahmin community and demanded an apology from the producer and also to expurgate them from the song. They objected the usage of sacred words from holy texts to praise the heroine.

As the controversy is brewing, Harish Shankar responded on it through an interaction with TV9 . Harish, who is a devout Brahmin, said that they have no intention to demean any caste and requested not to misinterpret the lyrics. He further clarified that no scene in the film will hurt the Brahmin community. He said that he has utmost respect for all communities and never wanted to belittle the sentiments or beliefs of anyone. Harish also clarified that the busy schedule has kept him away from responding on the issue till now. The lyrics for the song were penned by Sahiti.

In the film, Allu Arjun plays a Brahmin caterer who starts a secret mission on a strong motive. The film is gearing up for release on June 23rd. Dil Raju is the producer.
