Bigg Boss reality show that started in 2017 in Telugu grew bigger and bigger each season and went on to become the topmost viewed reality show in Telugu. The latest season i.e. Bigg boss 4 Telugu is starting today on 6th September on Star Maa.

COVID 19 changed the way this show is organized:

This year 2020 is remembered for the COVID-19 and the disruption it caused to the world. It has changed literally every aspect of human life across the globe. Bigg boss show is not an exception. The team, reportedly, is taking several precautions to ensure the smooth flow of the show. Already contestants were put in isolation and tested for corona by the Bigg boss team. Only those who got negative in the tests were allowed to participate in the game. Several more precautions have already been taken to ensure participants do not come into contact with the virus.

Even though there were many rumors that there will be a new host this season, the Bigg boss team put check to all those rumors by roping in Nagarjuna again. He is now the only host to have handled more than one season of Bigg boss Telugu. It is known news that NTR handled the first season and got unanimously positive feedback for his response. Nani, who handled the season 2 got an extraordinary response for his spontaneity and hosting though there were some controversies and allegations from Kaushal’s fans. Nagarjuna, who handled season 3, once again proved that he is really the king of ‘hosting’. He is the only star in Telugu who handled more than one blockbuster show on Telugu TV. It is known news that he handled ‘Meelo Evaru Koteeswarduu’ earlier.

As it has been happening with every season, this time also many mainstream and social media channels came with stories and speculations on who could participating in the show this season. The number of stories broadcast and written on this topic in the last 1 week reiterates the popularity of this show among the audience. A total of 15 participants are expected to participate in season 4.

Some other names that popped up earlier like Bithiri Sathi, Mahatalli Jahnavi, Choregrapher Raghu, singer Pranavi, character artiste Surekhavani, character artiste Pragathi etc seems to be not in the final list. But we need to wait for the final confirmation.

Duration of this season:

There have been rumors about cutting short this season 4 to 70 days like it happened during season 1 because of Covid-19. It is known news that season 2 and season 3 ran for more than 100 days. However, as per reports, Bigg boss team is planning to run the show for 15 weeks this time too.

We need to wait and see who all will be participating this season and how big hit will be this season.

Bigg Boss 4 Postponed?

The small screen audience are all waiting eagerly for the fourth season of Bigg Boss which is planned to start in June and was pushed to August due to the coronavirus pandemic. Nagarjuna will host Bigg Boss 4 and he already completed shooting for the teaser and the trailer of Bigg Boss 4. As per the latest news, we hear, Bigg Boss 4 is pushed to September from August. There are some pending works with the sets because of which Bigg Boss 4 is pushed.

All the finalized contestants will be kept in the home quarantine for two weeks. They will also undergo coronavirus tests before entering into the sets as per the update. This process also delayed the commencement of Bigg Boss 4. The makers are in plans to announce the official date of Bigg Boss 4 very soon. There are several speculations about the contestants but Star MAA wanted to reveal them only on the day the show commences. All the government issued guidelines would be followed and Nagarjuna would be present during the weekends.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic left the star actors and directors scared. All the veteran actors Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh restricted themselves to their homes and are not ready to resume the shoots till the vaccination for coronavirus arrives. King Nagarjuna is all set to join the sets of Bigg Boss 4 from next month. The 60-year-old actor will be present during the weekends in the Bigg Boss house.

The makers made special arrangements and Nagarjuna will be treated with utmost care on the sets. He would not be approached by anyone except his personal staff on the sets of Bigg Boss. Special arrangements are made for Nagarjuna to make him comfortable on the sets of Bigg Boss 4. All the social distancing guidelines would be followed by the makers of Bigg Boss 4. The reality show would commence from the mid of August and will continue for 50 days.

Bigg Boss is one reality show that turned out to be a favorite show for Telugu households. After the arrival of coronavirus, the fourth season of Bigg Boss got pushed. Though there are speculations that Bigg Boss 4 is shelved, Star MAA is busy with the arrangements. Nagarjuna has been retained to host the fourth season and the contestants are locked. Instead of 16-18 contestants, Bigg Boss 4 will have 12 contestants. Instead of conducting the reality show for 100 days, the makers decided to complete Bigg Boss 4 in just 50 days.

Star MAA already completed the set work in Annapurna Studios recently. Social distancing turned out to be the priority of the day and hence the tasks in Bigg Boss house are completely changed. There would be no group tasks for the contestants in Bigg Boss 4. The makers also made changes for the set recently. Right from the bedrooms to the washrooms, everything would be different and kept private for each contestant. An official announcement about Bigg Boss 4 would be made soon.
