Stylish Star Allu Arjun is busy wrapping up his next film Duvvada Jagannadham and the film is all set for June 23rd release. The actor will wrap up the shoot by June 10th and will promote the film all over. Harish Shankar directed the movie and Dil Raju bankrolled the film. The actor signed his next film in the direction of Vakkantham Vamsi and the pre-production work of the film has been wrapped up long ago. The movie unit has been waiting for Allu Arjun and the latest update says that the film will start its shooting proceedings from June 21st.

Allu Arjun will promote Duvvada Jagannadham and will join the sets of his next without any breaks. The movie has been titled ‘Naa Peru Surya’ however an official confirmation is awaited. The makers are aiming for an early 2018 release and this big budget entertainer will be produced by Lagadapati Sreedhar, Naga Babu and Bunny Vaas jointly. More details to be revealed soon.

It is very common for rumormongers to weave stories from their imagination and circulate them as the stories of upcoming big films. Coming to Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘DJ’, some say that it is inspired form Shankar’s ‘Gentleman’ while a few others declare that it is a rehash of NTR’s ‘Adhurs’. Putting a full stop to these rumors aside, now film’s director Harish Shankar himself has revealed the film’s plot line.

In his bid to provide a clarity on the recent controversy created by Duvvada Jagannadham’s second single, ‘Gudilo Badilo’, Harish inadvertently leaked the film’s core story. He said that DJ is based on the mythological point, ‘Shapadapi Sharadapi’, which means a Brahmin can achieve victory either by Shapa (Curse) or Shara (Weapon). Either way, he can defeat his enemy and achieve what he intends to do. So, DJ is about a youth who destroys the evil in society by curse and with weapons.

From the released promos so far, DJ looks like a perfect blend of action, romance and entertainment. The film is a hot cake in market with buyers from all areas offering the career highest deals to grab the film’s rights. The controversies created by the promos are only helping the film get free publicity.

Carrying huge hype, DJ is slated to hit screens on June 23. The film will have to compete with Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’, which also releases on the same day, at box office, especially outside the Telugu states.

Spyder producer bags Bunny’s flick for a record price

Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming entertainer Duvvada Jagannadham is making the right noises ahead of its release on the 23rd of June. The Harish Shankar directional is red hot in trade circles and the pre release business is going to highest in Allu Arjun’s career.

According to the latest trade update, the Ceeded area rights of Duvvada Jagannadham have been bagged by popular producer NV Prasad, who is currently bankrolling Mahesh Babu’s Spyder. It is learnt that NV Prasad offered 12 Crores to snap the rights, which is the highest price in Bunny’s career.

The shooting of DJ is on the verge of completion and the post production activities are simultaneously happening in Hyderabad. Pooja Hegde is the film’s leading lady. Dil Raju is producing the film.

Though he is yet to get a prominent release in North India, Stylish Star Allu Arjun has become the cynosure of Bollywood trade circles.

Few days back, it was speculated in the media circles that the Hindi rights of Allu Arjun’s forthcoming film Duvvada Jagannadam( DJ)were sold for a solid price. Now, it is learnt that many Bollywood production houses are keen on grabbing the satellite rights of the DJ actor’s next film which is titled Naa Peru Surya.

Reportedly, the producer of Naa Peru Surya is getting offers with a range of 22-24 Crores( including Telugu, Hindi and Tamil versions) from various production houses in Bollywood. Sources say that a couple of big names from Bollywood have approached the producer, but the deal is yet to be closed. Though the film is yet to commence the regular shoot, it is creating a lot of anticipation among the trade circles.

The makers are planning to rope in a few Bollywood actors and technicians for this film. Writer Vakkantham Vamshi will make his debut as director with this film.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is not in a mood to hurry and he is taking his time to wrap up the formalities of his upcoming release Duvvada Jagannadham. This Harish Shankar directorial is said to be a mass entertainer and the movie has been carrying huge buzz all over. The entire shoot of the film will be wrapped up by the end of this month and Bunny started dubbing for his role. The actor generally takes three days (maximum time) to complete the dubbing part for his character in his films.

However it is quite different for DJ. Sources revealed that Bunny took over ten days to dub for his role in Duvvada Jagannadham which is quite unusual. The actor is quite concentrated and he worked hard to come out with the accent of a Brahmin cook. Hence he took his time to get perfect with the accent and the actor is said to have spending 12 hours to wrap up his dubbing part. The climax portions of the film will be shot from May 15th with which the entire shoot of the film will be wrapped up.

Pooja Hegde is the female lead in Duvvada Jagannadham and Dil Raju is the producer. Duvvada Jagannadham is all set for June 23rd release.

Putting an end to all speculations regarding the film’s release date, the makers of Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham have officially confirmed that the film will release on June 23rd coinciding with EID festival. The news was made official through the Twitter handle of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The Harish Shankar directional, which is in the final stages of shooting, was supposed to release in May. But, due to the delay in shooting schedules, they have pushed the film’s release to June.

Allu Arjun is playing a brahmin caterer in the film who will be on a secret mission with a strong purpose. The teaser clocked millions of views in YouTube and augmented the expectations on the film. Svelte beauty Pooja Hegde is playing the heroine in the film which has its music score done by Devi Sri Prasad.

DJ and Spyder to swap release dates ?

Apart from Baahubali 2, Allu Arjun’s Duvvada Jagannadham aka DJ and Mahesh Babu’s Spyder are the other big ticket films which are gearing up for release this Summer. DJ was supposed to hit the screens in May, but due to the slight delay in shooting schedules, the makers have pushed it to July 7th. On the other side, Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming spy thriller Spyder has locked June 23rd as the release date.

If the latest buzz in the industry circles is to be believed, both DJ and Spyder are likely to swap their release dates. It is learnt that Spyder has an extended schedule due to which the last leg of the shoot might be delayed by a couple weeks. So, the makers doesn’t want a last minute rush and are planning to release the film on July 7th.

In the meantime, DJ makers are confident that they can wrap up the production activities and release the film on June 23rd. Sources say that DJ will be ready for release on June 23rd if Spyder makes way for it. However, there is no official word regarding this exchange of release dates. We have to wait and see if the both these films release as per scheduled or will there be any swap in the dates.
