Vennela Kishore turns Antagonist?

Indian 2 is the most prestigious film of Kamal Haasan and Shankar. Currently, Shankar is shooting for the film in Chennai. Indian 2 is going to have seven antagonists and comedian Vennela Kishore is going to be one among them.

Vennela Kishore is a talented actor and he already showed his grey shades in Adivi Sesh’ Goodachari. Shankar felt that Vennela Kishore’s role will be a good twist for the film and finalized the actor for the villain role.

Kajal Agarwal is the lead actress in the film. She already joined the film after her childbirth. Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in other important roles. Shankar is canning key scenes of the film in Chennai and he will be joining RC15, once Ram Charan is back from the USA.

Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 resumes shoot

The shoot of Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 has been put on hold after serious differences between director Shankar and the producers Lyca Productions. After more than two years, the differences are sorted out and the shoot resumed today in Chennai. Kamal Haasan is currently in USA and he is preparing for the film. He will join the sets of the film in September. Udhaynidhi Stalin and his production house Red Giant Movies joined the film as co-producers and an announcement was made.

There are talks that it was Uday who initiated talks and cleared the differences between Shankar and Lyca Productions. More than 40 percent of the shoot of Indian 2 is now pending. Kajal will join the sets this month. Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in other important roles. Shankar is keen to release Indian 2 in summer 2023. AR Rahman is the music director. A team of Hollywood technicians are working for Indian 2.

Kamal Haasan and Shankar delivered a classic called Indian years ago. After a long gap, the sequel titled Indian 2 has been announced and the film started rolling. After Shankar had creative differences with the producers, the shoot of the film was put on hold. There have been ongoing speculations about the film from the past few months and the issue also reached the court. Kamal Haasan tried hard to resolve the issues between Shankar and Lyca Productions.

Kamal Haasan spoke to Telugu360 exclusively about Indian 2. “I am not directing Indian 2. Shankar will take up the project. The shoot of Indian 2 will resume soon after Shankar is done with Ram Charan’s film” told Kamal Haasan. The veteran actor also said that he would do 2-3 films every year. As per the words of Kamal Haasan, Indian 2 is not shelved and the shoot resumes soon. Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh are the lead actors in this big-budget patriotic drama.

Buzz: Shankar and Kamal Haasan to resume the shoot of Indian 2

Kamal Haasan and Shankar are teaming up for Indian 2, a big-budget film. The shoot has been put on hold due to various reasons and the makers approached the court to get the issue resolved. Shankar and Lyca exchanged words and Shankar moved on to his next film featuring Ram Charan in the lead role. As per the update coming, the issue seems to have been resolved. Shankar and Lyca Productions have to come to an agreement and the shoot is expected to resume in December.

Over 30 percent of the film’s shoot is pending and Kamal will join the sets of the film very soon. Shankar is in plans to complete Indian 2 in quick schedules and the film will release for Diwali 2022. Kajal Aggarwal is the leading lady and Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh will be playing other important roles. More details about the film are expected to be announced officially by the makers.

Universal star Kamal Hassan is reuniting with director Shankar after two decades for the sequel to his blockbuster vigilante drama Bharateeyudu. The film has been tentatively titled as Indian 2 and Kajal Aggarwal has been roped in as the film’s leading lady.

Announcing the start of this much awaited sequel, Shankar revealed a striking poster of Kamal Hassan’s look as Senapathi. The image is captioned ‘Older, Wiser , Deadlier’ which hints that the lead character will be more intense in the sequel compared to the first part. Kamal Hassan played dual roles in the first part and Senapathi turned out to be one of the iconic characters ever. Senapathi fights vigorously against corruption and corrupt officials in the government.

Once again, Shankar is going to deal corruption in the present day scenario with this sequel. The regular shooting will commence from tomorrow and the film is slated for release next year. Anirudh Ravichander is going to compose the soundtrack.

Bollywood actor in talks for Shankar’s much awaited sequel

After Amithab Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vivek Oberoi, another Bollywood Superstar is likely to be cast in a South Indian film.

As per reliable sources, hit filmmaker Shankar has approached top Hindi star Ajay Devgn to essay a crucial role in his much awaited film Indian 2, sequel to Bharateeyudu ( Indian), which is likely to commence later this year. Kamal Hassan is once again going to play the lead role in this big budget entertainer.

Reportedly, Shankar has designed a cop role which has equal weight to that of the lead role in this sequel which is going to be a message oriented social drama similar to its first part.

As Shankar is planning to make it as a multilingual film, he is looking to bring Ajay Devgn on board for this pivotal role which will be a value addition for the project in terms of its business prospects in North India.

We have to wait for a confirmation if Ajay Devgn’s agrees to be a part of this project or not.

Bhaarateeyudu 2 – From Arka to Dil raju

Earlier today, a big announcement regarding the sequel to Shankar’s iconic hit film Bharateeyudu was officially announced on the eve of Dussehra. Star Telugu producer Dil Raju is going to pool money bags for this crazy project which will be made as a bilingual in Telugu and Tamil. Though reasons are not known, Shankar is very particular on a Telugu producer to come on board for this project.

Sources say that Shankar initially approached Baahubali producers to back this big budget project. But, they were not interested to spend such a high budget that is on par with Shankar’s previous films. They don’t have the same comfort with other directors that they have with Rajamouli So they were never interested

With Baahubali producers turning down Shankar’s offer, Dil Raju decided to take up the project.

The regular shooting will commence towards the end of next year. The film has been titled Indian 2.
