Top actress Kajal Aggarwal has signed a series of films but she backed out of most of the projects due to pregnancy. The actress walked out of Nagarjuna’s Ghost. Kajal is the leading lady in Kamal Haasan’s big-budget movie Indian 2 directed by Shankar. The shoot of the film came to a halt due to the creative differences in the team. All the issues are now resolved and the shoot of Indian 2 is expected to resume early next year. Shankar is currently planning the schedules of the film.

Kajal already completed filming for some of the portions of the film. As per the buzz, Kajal is replaced by Milky beauty Tamannaah and the actress signed the dotted line recently. The actress is currently allocating her dates for the movie. Indian 2 is expected to release for Diwali 2022 and the shooting portions will be completed soon. Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in other important roles in Indian 2 that is produced by Lyca Productions.

Elli AvRam has been cast in the Tamil and Kannada remakes of Hindi entertainer “Queen”, while Shibani Dandekar has been zeroed in for its Telugu and Malayalam versions. The producer says they will lend “freshness” to the movies.

Earlier, Amy Jackson was to play essay Lisa Haydon’s role from the original “Queen” in all its four southern versions. Amy had walked out of the film citing creative differences and non-availability of dates.

Producer Manu Kumaran said in a statement: “We have made several changes to the script and the films are going to be different in each language. We had planned on Amy Jackson initially, but it became clear that the character demanded a specific look and feel.

“Elli AvrRam and Shibani Dandekar will bring the much required freshness to the movies”.

He is upset over Amy’s claims.

“For Amy to say that it didn’t work out creatively is completely wrong as she didn’t meet any of the two directors who are making these 4 movies.”

The makers of the film will be kickstarting their first schedule in France. Starring Tamannaah Bhatia, Kajal Aggarwal, Manjima Mohan and Parul Yadav in the lead in their respective languages, the film will be sequentially be shot at various locations adding a tinge of southern element to it.

Its been three and a half years since the release of Kangana Ranaut-starrer Bollywood film ‘Queen’. Discussions for its remake in all the South languages have been going on for a long time. It seems the Telugu remake has finally landed in safe hands.

Our trusted sources have divulged that acclaimed Telugu film director Neelakanta has been finalized to direct the Telugu remake of ‘Queen’. Neelakanta has won numerous awards including a National Film Award and a couple of Nandi awards for his acclaimed films such as ‘Show’ and ‘Missamma’. The director however has been going through a barren period for past few years. ‘Queen’ remake will be a potential opportunity for him to bounce back.

When the teaser of Rana Daggubati’s ‘Nene Raju Nene Manthri’ was released a few days ago, it promised to present the macho actor in never before seen avatar. Strengthening that belief, here comes the striking trailer.

Rana’s screen presence, especially when he smokes cigar while wearing white and white, is mersal. Kajal looks extremely gorgeous in sarees and her chemistry with Rana looks to be a major strength of this film. Catherine’s media baron character with grey shades is something to watch out for. The Background score is on point.

The best part of the trailer however is dialogues. ‘100 mandi MLAs ni theesukelli star hotel lo pedithe sayanthraniki nenuu avutha.. Actor Rana Daggubati on Sunday said the teaser of his upcoming Telugu political drama “Nene Raju, Nene Mantri”, in which he plays a politician, will release on June 6.

“Teaser of my next ‘Nene Raju, Nenu Mantri’ will be out on June 6. Can’t wait to share,” Rana wrote on his Twitter page.

Being directed by Teja, the film also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Catherine Tresa, Navdeep and Ashutosh Rana.

Talking about the movie, Rana had said in a statement: “I always admired Teja’s hunger for brilliance and this one is turning out to be a compelling and thought provoking film. It’s going to be a delight for everyone.”

The film marks the first-time collaboration between Rana and Teja, and it is being produced by Suresh Babu.

“Nene Raju, Nenu Mantri” will also be released in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
