The actor already finalized a film with Bimbisara fame director Mallidi Vashishta, which might go on to sets in August. Now the latest buzz is that Chiranjeevi also gave a nod to Soggade Chinninayana fame director Kalyan Krishna.

Chiranjeevi is having a close bond with Kalyan Krishna’s brother Kanna Babu and this helped the director to reach Chiru. Chiranjeevi is planning to shoot for Vashishta and Kalyan Krishna’s films simultaneously. Currently, Chiranjeevi is shooting for Bhola Shankar in Meher Ramesh’s direction. Director Kalyan Krishna made a dream debut with Nagarjuna’s 2015 hit Soggade Chinni Nayana. The family entertainer emerged as a blockbuster at box office and Kalyan Krishna set sights on making a solid career in Tollywood.

After taking considerable time, he came up with another family drama Ra Randoyi Veduka Chuddam. The film couldn’t repeat a similar box office success like Soggade Chinni Nayana, but managed to win appreciation from family audience. As a director, Kalyan Krishna bagged brownie points for his narration.

When his career in on the right track, Kalyan Krishna chose Ravi Teja for his next film Nela Ticket which released this Friday. The film opened to a very dismal talk and embarrassing reviews.

The poor performance of the film is surely going to impact Kalyan Krishna’s track record and will also play a huge part in getting him offers for his next projects. He was supposed to team up with Nagarjuna for the sequel of Soggade Chinni Nayana, but it has been put on hold due to some script issues.

So, now the question is whether Nagarjuna goes ahead with the project and will he deter it further.

By opting to direct Ravi Teja, who is poor form, Kalyan Krishna seems to have barked up the wrong tree at a crucial point in his career.

Ravi Teja Kalyan Krishna movie launched

Mass Raja Ravi Teja preferred not to take any breaks between his projects. He wrapped up the shoot of Touch Chesi Chudu in the direction of Vikram Sirikonda recently and the actor is playing a fearless cop. The actor signed his next film in the direction of Kalyan Krishna and the film has been launched officially today. ‘Nela Ticket’ is the title under consideration and an official announcement would be out soon.

The regular shoot of the film kick-started today and Ravi Teja took twitter to reveal the news. Ram Talluri is producing this village based romantic entertainer and debutant Malvika Sharma is romancing Ravi Teja in the film. The movie has been slated for release during the second half of the year. Ravi Teja also signed a film in the direction of Srinu Vaitla which will start once Ravi Teja wraps up Kalyan Krishna’s film.

With Soggade Chinni Nayana, Akkineni Nagarjuna introduced a new talent to Tollywood in the form of Kalyan Krishna, who impressed audience and critics alike with his directional skills. On many occasions after his impressive debut, Kalyan Krishna heaped praises on Nagarjuna for encouraging him and also said that the star hero is his godfather. Even Kalyan’s second film also came from Annapurna Studios banner in the form of Chaitu’s Ra Randoi Veduka Choodam.

Both Nagarjuna and Kalyan Krishna were supposed to reunite again for a film which is weaved around the Banggaraju character in Soggade Chinni Nayana. However, things didn’t fall in place and the project was put on the back burner. Later, Kalyan came up with a multi-starrer script that was supposed to feature Naga Chaitanya and Venkatesh in a family drama. Unfortunately, the project was put on hold due to unknown reasons. Sources revealed that it was Nagarjuna who told to defer the project and suggested Kalyan to work on a different one.

After working on a new script for a couple of months, Kalyan Krishna finally decided to work with Ravi Teja and got the nod. The talented director thanked Nagarjuna via his social media blogger before officially confirming the project. Everyone is little surprised on why Kalyan thanked Nagarjuna when he is working with Ravi Teja.

The reason is Kalyan Krishna treats Nagarjuna as his mentor and respects his suggestions very much. As it is Nagarjuna who anchored his career showing him the right path, the director wanted to thank Nagarjuna before making a formal announcement about his next project.

The movie has been scheduled to be launched today officially but has been pushed to an unknown date because of Nag. Chaitanya and Akhil too opposed the project and the Akkinenis wanted the young director to complete the third project on Annapurna Studios as per their promise. They even wanted the things to be kept under wraps and Kalyan Krishna is left puzzled about his next project.

There are speculations that Nag was not impressed with a script narrated by Kalyan Krishna after which he narrated it to Ravi Teja.

King Nagarjuna scored massive blockbusters with Soggade Chinni Nayana and Oopiri last year. The actor has been quite focussed on the careers of Naga Chaitanya and Akhil currently. He is busy producing their movies and Chaitu’s latest outing Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam ended up as a massive hit. There are talks that Nag made enough changes for the script and he even asked the director Kalyan Krishna to re-shoot some of the episodes. Two much awaited trailers to release today

As the Baahubali storm slows down slightly, a bunch of medium budget films gear up to test their luck at the box office. Nikhil’s Keshava and Naga Chaitanaya’s Ra Randoi Veduka Choodam are gearing up release in the next two weeks. Both these films are carrying good reports from inside sources. Coincidentally, the trailers of both these films will be unveiled today.

Nikhil’s Keshava garnered good hype with its intriguing teaser and striking posters. The Sudheer Varma directional is tipped to be a gripping thriller laced with adequate commercial values. Pelli Choopulu fame Ritu Varma is the film’s leading lady. The film is slated to hit the screens on May 19th.

Naga Chaitanaya’s RRVC is also one of the eagerly awaited films this season. The family entertainer is generating good hype for its refreshing posters and the heart warming songs that were released a few days back. Kalyan Krishna is the director and Rakul Preet Singh the leading lady. The film is set for release on May 26th.

Nag promises a Blockbuster with Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam

King Nagarjuna is not only an actor and he has been producing films on his prestigious Annapurna Studios banner. Nag has the highest success rate as a producer and after a small gap, he is producing Chaitu’s next movie Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam which said to be a clean family entertainer. Kalyan Krishna directed the movie and Naga Chaitanya, Rakul Preet Singh, Jagapathi Babu and Sampath Raj are the lead actors. The makers arranged a special press meet today.

Speaking about the film, Nag said “I spent days in the editing room for this film. I decided to meet the press when I am confident about the film. I promise a blockbuster with Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam. Kalyan did a fantastic job and the film is all about the emotional journey of four characters. I kept a close eye on the movie right from the shoot and it is how it shaped quite well. Jagapathi Babu will be seen in a never seen role and Rakul will play a village girl named Bramaramba in the movie”.

Produced by Annapurna Studios, Rarandoy Veduka Chuddam is all set for May 19th release. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
