Bunch of repairs made for NTR – Mahanayakudu

    0

NTR – Kathanayakudu released between huge expectations and ended up as a below average fare at the box-office. The result of this is said to impact NTR – Mahanayakudu and the makers are yet to reveal the release date of the second instalment. All the roles essayed by NTR have been shown in the first part and the audience will have nothing new to get excited in NTR – Mahanayakudu except the political drama.

The film’s director Krish is not in a mood to repeat his mistakes that he did for NTR – Kathanayakudu. Though the episodes looked interesting, it is the length of the scenes that killed the curiosity among the audience. With most of the shoot done, Krish is currently busy making the episodes crisp and sharp enough on screen. Krish was not convinced with some of the episodes which are shot again. NTR – Mahanayakudu ends abruptly after NTR turns Chief Minister but now NTR’s final rites and his last journey too are showcased in NTR – Mahanayakudu.

With lot of changes made, the film’s release has been pushed and NTR – Mahanayakudu will release on Febrauary 22nd across the globe.

NBK’s silence about NTR – Mahanayakudu

    0

NTR – Kathanayakudu carried mighty expectations but the film’s result left the entire unit in pain. Balakrishna is left restless about the film and he is spending busy time shooting for the second part NTR – Mahanayakudu which may release next month. Balakrishna who sounded quite confident and looked energetic on the sets of NTR – Kathanayakudu is completely different on the sets of NTR – Mahanayakudu.

He is said to have lost his patience, cool and sounded intolerant. Balayya who used to speak so much about the project with his friends and well wishers is maintaining silence about the film. The shoot of the film is currently in final stages and is expected to release during the third week of February. Krish is currently wrapping the shoot of NTR – Mahanayakudu.

No clarity on ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ release

    6

The embarrassing box office result of NTR Kathanayakudu has put the team in a lot of dilemma over the release of the second part. Balakrishna and Krish initially planned to release NTR Mahanayakudu in mid February. So, they resumed shooting for the remaining portion immediately after the first part got released. But, they haven’t officially announced the release date till now.

Yesterday, the makers have released a poster for Republic Day without any hint of release date. This has given way for a lot of speculations regarding the postponement of the second part. Team NTR is maintaing stoic silence over these rumours. It seems like they don’t want to take chance and release the film immediately after the poor performance of the first part.

It is learnt that Krish wants to take more time for post production work and edit out unnecessary scenes in the second part before announcing the release date. Only an official confirmation will end all these speculations.

NTR makers to compensate for NTR – Kathanayakudu Losses

Nandamuri Balakrishna took things prestigiously and produced his father NTR’s biopic which has been made in two parts as NTR – Kathanayakudu and NTR – Mahanayakudu. Directed by Krish, the first installment NTR – Kathanayakudu released during Sankranthi 2019 and received thumping response from all the corners. However the film’s collections have been quite low and the buyers are expected to end up in huge losses. Now Balakrishna and his team are in plans to offer NTR – Mahanayakudu for free without charging a penny. The film will be released through the distributors of NTR – Kathanayakudu to recover their losses. The film is planned for February 7th release and is in final stages of shoot. Balakrishna is wrapping up NTR – Mahanayakudu which will be focused on NTR’s political journey.

Chandra Babu Naidu made it easy for me : Rana

    0

Macho star Rana Daggubhati played the role of Chandra Babu Naidu in the biopic of NTR. Rana’s makeover in the film evoked a stirring response from audience as he looked like a spitting image of CBN. It was indeed a challenging role for Rana to step into the shoes of a character who is alive.

During the promotions, Rana revealed how he managed to pull off the role with ease. Rana said CBN gave a lot of inputs about his character when Krish and he met him before commencing the shoot. ‘CBN made life better for me in portraying his character with his suggestions, said Rana. He thanked Krish and Balayya for taking him to CBN as interaction with him helped play the character without much difficulty.

Rana did a lot of homework for CBN’s character and his role is said to be a major highlight for the film. While the first part will highlight NTR’s film journey, the second part showcase the glory of his political career. Directed by Krish, the biopic has Balakrishna as NTR. The first part is slated for release this 9th.

When NBK felt Rana is a trespasser

    0

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Krish who are busy with NTR attended the television show of Rana’s No1 Yaari as special guests. The show was telecasted last night and it is filled with several surprises. Balakrishna re-collected the first day shooting in NTR’s residence in which Rana too was present. Rana lost huge weight and transformed himself as Nara Chandra Babu Naidu for the film.

Balayya who was busy preparing himself for his role spotted Rana in the new look but could not recognize him. He thought Rana as a trespasser and was surprised to see his team not bothered after a new face entered on the sets. Soon when Krish informed, Balakrishna was left amazed and congratulated Rana for his transformation. Rana thanked Balakrishna and Krish for the wonderful opportunity.

Exclusive: Who is playing NBK in NTR

    0

Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set with his prestigious film NTR that is based on the life story of legendary actor and politician NTR. The complete list of actors essaying pivotal roles in NTR has been out and there are talks going on about the role of Balakrishna. While Balakrishna is playing NTR, there are wide speculations making rounds about the actor essaying Balakrishna in the film. Though Mokshagna visited the sets twice, he hasn’t played any role in the film.

A close source from the movie unit revealed that there is no prominent role of Balakrishna in the film and couple of scenes of Balakrishna have been shot from backside with a junior artist. This may be a shocker but Krish and Balakrishna wanted to keep the film focused on NTR rather than on NBK. Hence there will be no prominence for NBK’s role in NTR. The legendary actor NTR could not attend the wedding of Balakrishna which is not known for many and this episode too has been showcased on screen.

Advantage NTR biopic after the stupendous trailer release

    0

From the onset, NTR biopic is ahead of other Sankranthi releases in all aspects. While the sensational posters, that were released from time to time, generated a superb buzz, the recently released stupendous trailer has shot the hype on the biopic out of the roof.

Director Krish has hit the bulls eye with his perfect planning. He ensured that the trailer is released at the right time after the posters garnered good response from audience. The sensational trailer, which is well packed with all necessary elements, has evoked a terrific response, which is the need of the hour for Sankranthi biggies.

Multi-starrer film F2 , which features Varun Tej and Venkatesh, is in next line in terms of buzz. The hilarious teaser has drawn the attention of family audience and set the right mood ahead of its release. Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama is lagging behind in terms of promotions and hype. The first look poster and the typical Boyapati mark teaser received only lukewarm response from audience. The two songs rendered by DSP couldn’t excite audience much. So, the onus is now on the theatrical trailer to generate some buzz on the film.

Grandeur in Every Respect- NTR Biopic Audio Review

    NTR Biopic Audio

NTR Biopic is one of the most anticipated projects in Tollywood featuring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the title role. Music for the film is composed by M.M.Keeravani and directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film is also produced by Balakrishna at a big scale and lot of hopes are coming up on its release.

The album begins on a softer note with Kathanayaka sung by the power packed singer Kailash Kher. The song is beautifully composed in Raaga Mohana and usage of old style instruments like clarinet, harp, and efficient string section is one of the biggest advantages of it. Keeravani’s typical usage of violin in the song is present even in this song. Writers K.Shivadatta and Dr. K.Ramakrishna deliver a fantastic work with the usage of right terms. The interludes are quite pleasantly woven with strings and as the song progresses, richness of orchestration is quite evident. Lyrically, the song hails Sr.NTR’s versatility as an actor and his determination in being perfect in every role he played.

Vendithera Dora is a melancholic number sung by M.M.Keeravani himself and speaks volumes about pain, sadness of the sufferers. Interestingly, the song is based only with grand piano and Keeravani does a commendable job emoting sadness and as it progresses, the tension builds up high with efficient string section.

It is time for a classy touch with Keeravani’s take on the all time greatest Thyagaraja composition Bantureeti Koluvu with impressive arrangements and K.S.Chitra’s fantastic rendition. Sirivennela Sitaramasastry does a fantastic job with altering the lyrics without tampering with original composition. The usage of veena, flute, and rich strings is once again evident in the song. Keeravani’s take on this composition is exemplary. Srreenidhi Tirumala’s classical vocals bring a youthful touch to the song as well. The neraval style of singing between the two lead vocalists is quite brilliant- and a rare finding in Telugu film songs off late.

The classy song Kathanyaka arrives again with female vocalists Sreenidhi, Mohana Bhogaraju and Ramya Behara at their best. In terms of orchestration, the song has nothing new to offer but the vocalists bring a new dimension to the composition. The three vocals sound sublime in unison and bring about a different aspect to the song and the feeling of heroics.

Ramanna Kadha is a narrative style composition which has nostalgic instruments like harmonium, clarinet and jaltarang. Chitra and and Sunitha give their best to this fantastic number. The song is effectively composed in Raaga Abheri which reminds us of the black and white numbers like Ravoyi Chandamama in Missamma. All in all, Keeravani deserves a praise for giving a new twist for such nostalgic thought.

The album brings a transformative effect with Chaitanya Radham– a motivating number which depicts the political changes with the entry of Sr.NTR in the scene. Sirivennela Sitaramasastry’s story like lyrics is a biggest add on. The song also has a folksy touch to it with usage of flute, strings, and surprisingly, the bass guitar deserves a good mention as well. The charanam brings a new pathway with a changeover in the tune and blends flawlessly to the lead motif.

The finale occurs with the already popular number Rajarshi which brings the feeling of power and hailing of the title hero with trademark Keeravani style. The song is composed in Suddha Dhanyasi raagam which is one of the favourites of Keeravani off late. However, the orchestration is the one which stands out quite effectively and replete with horns, drums, and old style instruments used in good vigor.

    Verdict:

NTR Biopic is a strong album from Keeravani and is high on quality lyrics, singers and of course- the majestic presentation.

Our Picks: Kathanayaka (Kailash Kher version), Bantureethi Koluvu, Rajarshi , Chaitanya Radham

    Does NTR deserve Tax Exemption?

    1

The prestigious NTR’s biopic is creating ripples all over and Nandamuri Balakrishna is banking big on an emotion named NTR. There are speculations that NTR will be given tax exemption in Andhra Pradesh and the necessary arrangements are being made. Does NTR film deserves tax exemption in AP?

The first important thing is that NTR is not a documentary and it an out and out commercial film. Balayya is making huge amount of money through the film and the theatrical rights of the film have been picked up for record prices already. So there is no point of government offering support for NTR with the name of tax exemption.

NTR is laced with all the commercial ingredients and the makers are making it with all the cinematic liberties. Hence there is no point of offering tax exemption for NTR. Directed by Krish, NTR is hitting the screens during Sankranthi 2019.
