Oxygen – When Gopichand had serious issues with the director..

Slick and stylish action hero Gopichand has been working on his recent release Oxygen for a time longer than expected. Finally, the film saw the light of release last week and opened up with lukewarm reviews.

But when dug into the real reason behind the delay, the sources say that it’s the creative differences between Gopichand and the director Jyoti Krishna regarding few pivotal scenes. While Gopichand insisted on having a strong sentimental scene before Anu Emmanuel’s character gets killed, the director went against the idea.

This obviously made Gopichand upset and led him skip the shooting as well as dubbing formalities for long time. The director also clipped off few scenes which wasn’t liked by our dear hero. As a result, an unwanted delay in the release happened!

Oxygen is finally hitting the screens

Manly Star Gopichand has been struggling to taste success and it was Loukyam which ended up as a decent grosser. The actor revealed that he had committed a series of mistakes and sounded confident about his bounce back. With Arudugula Bullet shelved, his next outing Oxygen is finally hitting the screens this Thursday. AM Jothi Krishna directed the film and Rashi Khanna, Anu Emmnuel are the female leads. The actor interacted with the media ahead before the film’s release.

“My job is to act and to wrap up the film as per the plan. But the release date of my movie is not in my hands. I made few mistakes and I have no regrets. This seems to be the toughest phase in my career and I am sure about my bounce back. I keep listening to lot of scripts and politely ask the director to try with other actors if I am not convinced. Will be quite cautious from now and will deliver good films. I am quite confident about Oxygen’s success and it is a family entertainer laced with action” revealed the actor.

Gopichand’s Oxygen postponed

Manly Star Gopichand teamed up with top producer AM Rathnam for his next which has been directed by AM Jothi Krishna. The movie has been titled Oxygen and has been made on a massive budget. The film’s shoot has been wrapped up long ago but it is yet to see the limelight. Despite of announcing couple of release dates, the film failed to make it because of the financial debts. The makers sounded quite confident this time and announced November 17th as the release date.

However an inside source revealed that the makers received no offers from the buyers and are yet to clear the financial hurdles. There are even talks that the film may not hit the screens anytime soon. AM Rathnam who announced a film with Pawan Kalyan was left disappointed as the film too has been shelved. Rashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel played the female leads in this big budget action entertainer and Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music.

Young actor Gopichand has been facing tough time currently and none of his recent movies impressed the audience. Couple of his films Aradugula Bullet and Oxygen have been occupied with financial hurdles. However the makers of Oxygen managed to wrap up the entire shoot recently and announced that the film will hit the screens on October 27th. AM Jothi Krishna is the director of this bilingual action drama.

The latest news is that the film will not hit the screens on October 27th and the new release date of the film will be announced soon. Rashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel are the female leads in Oxygen which has been produced by AM Rathnam’s Sri Sai Raam Creations. The makers are confident that the film will hit the screens during November however an official announcement is awaited.

Talented director Sampath Nandi is all set to present Manly Star Gopichand in a completely different way with his next which has been titled Gautam Nanda. This mass and romantic action entertainer features Gopichand in a new lean and stylish look. Hansika and Catherine are the female leads in the movie. Gopichand has been sweating out in Dubai from the past couple of weeks where an introduction song along with a romantic number has been shot with Hansika.

With this the entire shoot of Gautam Nanda has been wrapped up. Made on a massive budget, the makers are in plans to release the movie during the mid of June as the summer has been completely packed. The audio of Gautam Nanda will be unveiled in May which has been composed by SS Thaman. J Bhagavan and Pulla Rao are bankrolling Gautam Nanda and Gopichand will be seen in his best looks till date in the movie. He even pinned massive hopes on the movie and is expected to bounce back with Gautam Nanda. His other movie Oxygen is slated for release during May.

Director Jyothi Krishna says visual effects and high octane action will be the biggest highlights of his upcoming Telugu directorial “Oxygen”, which stars Gopichand, Raashi Khanna and Anu Emmanuel.

“We have about 90 minutes of visual effects, and it took us about four months to complete it. The breathtaking action sequences will be another major attraction. These are the biggest highlights of our film,” Jyothi Krishna said in a statement.

Produced by A.M. Rathnam, the film is gearing up for release in May.
