Red has taken a very good opening in the Telugu States as the film has collected a distributor share of 5.20 Cr. This is the second biggest opener for Ram Pothineni behind iSmart Shankar. Theatrical rights of the film are valued for 14 Cr.

Ram in search for a pan Indian project
Energetic Star Ram is celebrating his birthday today. The actor is known for his dedication and hard work. His performance in Ismart Shankar has been widely appreciated and the actor completed the shoot of RED which is waiting for release. During a recent interaction, Ram said that he is extremely happy about the performance of his films in Hindi circles. He also confirmed that he received numerous offers in Tamil in recent times.
“If the right script reaches me, I am ready to do a pan Indian film. I haven’t signed any film after Red and I am waiting for interesting scripts. After Ismart Shankar, I wish to surprise the fans with my every next project. I recently moved to a new house and am staying single. My friends and family pay frequent visits to my home” says Ram. He is quite cautious about his next and Ram is the only Tollywood actor who hasn’t signed his next.
Ram’s Red Release Date Sealed
Young actor Ram is all delighted with the super success of Ismart Shankar. He is extra cautious after tasting such a massive hit and Ram rejected a series of films post the release of Ismart Shankar. His next film Red got its official launch today and the regular shoot commences from November 16th. With perfect planning and schedules, the film will be shot in packed schedules. In one more announcement, the makers revealed that Red is set to be a summer treat and will release on April 9th 2020.
With a number of films targeting summer release next year, Ram is already ahead and sealed the release date of this action thriller. Kishore Tirumala is done with the script work already. Nivetha Pethuraj and Malvika Sharma are the leading ladies and Manisharma composes the music. Ram is one actor who works at a fast pace and the makers are in plans to complete the entire shooting part by the mid of February. Sri Sravanthi Movies are the producers.
I Smart Shankar poster: Ram slays in mass avatar with new makeover
Dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannadh and Energetic hero Ram teamed up for the first time. Titled as I Smart Shankar, the film features Nabha Natesh and Niddhi Agerwal as female leads.
On the eve of Ram’s birthday, the makers have unveiled a new poster in which he is seen as a typical Puri Jagannadh hero sporting a mass look. Ram is seen riding a bullet in this colourful poster and his new makeover is surely going to be a treat for his fans. The quirky title and Ram’s mass avatar clearly suggest that Puri is coming another full length commercial potboiler with his trademark action elements and punch dialogues.
The shooting formalities are nearing completion and the makers are planning to release the film after Summer. Mani Sharma is composing the tunes for this film which is produced by Puri’s home banner.

Energetic Star Ram is busy shooting for his next film iSmart Shankar which is directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film will hit the screens during May this year. Ram is in talks for couple of projects that will roll later this year. His uncle and veteran producer Sravanthi Ravikishore acquired the remake rights of Tamil blockbuster Thadam recently. The film featuring Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope released recently and is a smashing box-office hit.
Sravanthi Ravikishore is in plans to remake the film with Ram and the script work of the film is currently on cards. The director and the details about the other cast, crew will be announced once things are final and script gets locked.
Ram replaces Varun Tej
Mega Prince Varun Tej is lauded for his script selection and the actor is lined up with a fresh bunch of projects. He was in talks with critically acclaimed director Sagar Chandra for an interesting film. 14 Reels Plus came on to the board to produce the film but things changed completely after Varun signed Harish Shankar’s Valmiki. 14 Reels Plus is producing this film and Sagar Chandra was left disappointed after his project has been left aside.
He narrated the story to Ram, his uncle Sravanthi Ravikishore and got their nod. Ram who is busy with iSmart Shankar will team up with Sagar Chandra post the film’s release. Sri Sravathi Movies will produce this project. Ram finally landed into the shoes of Varun Tej’s project which was in discussion stages from the past few months.

This is the highest first week ever for Ram as it has bettered the figures of his previous film Vunnadhi Okate Zindagi. It is yet to released in some centres due to the other biggie Aravindha Sametha & those centres are most likely to get added from tomorrow. The film has high chances to emerge as a Success(Above Average) it does atleast decent business in it’s second weekend.

These collections are better than Ram’s previous film Vunnadhi Okkate Zindagi which had collected a distributor share of 9.12 in it’s first three days. The film will have some jump today which can take it’s total to past 14 Cr.

Ram and Anupama seek revival with HGPK
Hello Guru Prema Kosame is a crucial film for Ram and Anupama Parameshwaran. Both actors are struggling to score a decent hit in recent times. They have pinned all their hopes on this romantic entertainer which is directed by hit director Trinadha Rao Nakkina.
Ram’s last two films left no trace at box office. He is desperate to make a strong comeback with HGPK and brand Dil Raju will ensure good openings this Dusheera. Happening beauty Anupama Parameshwaran is also confident of reviving her low lying career due to lack of proper hits in Tollywood. This is the second time she is paired with Ram and she is hopeful that the sparkling chemistry with him will be a selling point for the film.
Dil Raju already suffered back to back debacles this year. He is looking to end the patchy run with HGPK. The whole team is happy with the output and the trailers have received a good response from audience. The film is all set for release this 18th.
