Ram Charan’s recent outing Rangasthalam has been declared as an blockbuster and the film has been raking decent revenues even in its fifth week of its run. The film’s digital rights have been picked up by Amazon Prime for a record price and as per the contract Amazon can telecast the film after 45 days of the theatrical release date. Based on contract, this film can be on amazon prime anytime after May 13th. But the buyers have been mounting pressure on the makers to delay the release of Rangasthalam on Amazon Prime as the film has been performing well. Rangasthalam will complete 50 days on May 18th and the makers wanted Amazon to postpone their plans for five more days.

Despite of the request of the makers, Amazon is not in a mood to step down and Rangasthalam will be released online anytime on May 13th. Mythri Movie Makers are trying their best to delay the digital release by five days and we have to wait to see what happens next. Ram Charan’s latest offering Rangasthalam, which released on March 30, emerged as one of the biggest blockbuster hits in South India by collecting 200 Crores gross worldwide in one month. Also, it is the first non-Baahubali film to launch the 200 Crore club in Tollywood. The makers have released a new poster announcing the rare feat.

The Sukumar directional received thumbs up from all sections of audience and set the box office on fire with its sensational run. Even after completing four weeks and despite the release of new films, the rustic entertainer is having a good run in all major areas with strong footfalls on weekends.

The talented art directors have bagged yet another challenging project after Rangasthalam. Reportedly, they are going to design set pieces for Varun Tej’s highly anticipated space film to be helmed by Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy.

As this untitled film will be a first of its kind space thriller, it will be no mean task to carve out huge sets that resemble satellites and other celestial bodies. As soon as the producers of this film approached the duo, they have immediately accepted the challenge.

They have already started working on the designs and will soon head to NASA for a brief recce.

To be produced by Rajeev Reddy and Krish, the film will feature Aditi Rao Hydari and Lavanya Tripathi as female leads.
