Jana Senani Pawan Kalyan and his Jana Sainiks have been showing a lot of patience since the beginning towards all the anti-party activities of their only one MLA Rapaka Varaprasad. The Razole MLA initially announced that he would not become a 152nd MLA by joining the ruling YCP. But very soon, Rapaka joined hands with the YCP and started openly defying Senani’s party line.

However, Pawan did not take action against Rapaka. One reason was because the SC MLA is the only legislator they have got. Another reason is that it would send a wrong signal to the people if he takes action against his party’s only MLA who belongs to the Dalit sections. Pawan has also avoided making any controversial statements against Rapaka. When asked by the mediapersons, he just once said that Rapaka might have had his own personal problems for his changing loyalties. Whatever, Pawan did not suspend or dismiss Rapaka from his party nor did he initiate any internal action against the MLA.

But now, the Jana Sena membership drive came up ahead of the local body elections. In this, Jana Sainiks gave special focus on Razole and enrolled a record number of new members. They took it as a prestige as well as a way of taking sweet revenge against Rapaka Varaprasad. Eventually, Razole stood first in Jana Sena membership in the State. Pawan has also mentioned this in party meetings and was very upbeat that the party activists were more enthusiastic despite political setbacks.

The lone MLA of Jana Sena is giving repeated shock treatments to Pawan Kalyan. Razole SC MLA Rapaka Vara Prasad did palabhishekam to CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy to mark the birthday celebrations of CM. This has come at a time when Pawan Kalyan is preparing to counter Jagan Circar on the three capitals issue. Rapaka has been actlng like a YCP activist for many weeks now.

Amaravati farmers have begun an all-out agitation against the move to shift administrative capital to Vizag. Jana Sena has already conveyed its active support to Amaravati farmers. Now, the lone Jana Sena MLA is honouring Jagan in public meetings. It is clear that Rapaka is not going to reflect Jana Sena’s views in the Assembly. Despite this, Senani is not taking any action as he is not ready to anger the only MLA he has in the house. Also, Pawan doesn’t want to send a wrong signal to the weaker sections.

The lone MLA of Jana Sena, Rapaka Vara Prasad, has made sensation comments saying that their party would have to change a lot if it has to go forward. His comments assumed deep political significance at a time of CM Jagan Reddy’s oppressive approach towards all opposition parties. Rapaka explained that he would not be able to get mike in the Assembly if his party goes on criticising YCP on each and every issue. It may be recalled how Jana Senani launched non-stop attacks embarrassing Jagan Circar in all burning issues. In the beginning, Rapaka was given some time to speak but this time he is being blocked from speaking the House.

Rapaka, who won from Razole segment in East Godavari, said that he has not received any showcause notice from Pawan Kalyan. He dismissed social media campaign by YCP as false. Rapaka said that he is not changing parties but it has common for leaders to shifty their loyalties these days. A few days back, the MLA admitted that there was some gap between him and Pawan. So far, Senani has criticised YCP for its misinformation campaigns against Jana Sena. However, Pawan has not yet responded on his party MLA comments. As far as possible, Pawan is avoiding any confrontation with Rapaka.
